I'm a little under my goal from the start of the challenge. My body is giving me some resistance against losing, I am at a "normal" BMI (at 6'1" and 44 years old) and am considering consolidating (e.g. maintaining) my losses.

I think I lose weight slower then paint dries. This is crazy. I have been working out 5-6 days a week and eating really well. But at less then 1/2 lb a week I will never reach any of my goals. Well I take that back I did reach my goal to be at a healthy BMI. I have been thinking of getting a personal trainer. Do any of you now or have you ever had a personal trainer? If so did it help?
Aug 25 is my b'day and I had set a goal of being in the 170's by then. Not sure I'll make it. But, I'd like to post stats and try. Seems like I'm stuck (once again) in the low 180's. As of today, I've actually gained weight this week. Gained weight - on a 1400 cal/day diet, walking 2 miles/day. Gained. This is usually where I give up and quit.

(Saturday is my weekly weigh day. I try not to fret the ups and downs during the week as long as I see a drop from one Saturday to the next.)
