Anyone out there looking to drop 100 lbs?!?
I am aiming at losing 100 lbs if not 120lbs. Anyone else out there needing to drop a significant amount of weight? If so hit me up. I know the large amount of pounds that you're looking to shed can be overwhelming so let's stick together. Lets lose lots of pounds together.
Can I join to or is it to late??? I have been trying on my own for a couple of weeks and lost a grand total of nothin! So now I want to have some more support...
I don't know of any limit on people, so WELCOME!
Sorry to read you haven't lost any pounds....maybe your measurements are smaller? Sometimes the scale can be evil & show no loss, but your clothes fit better, or even looser!
Hi
I have read through your thread and think it is great...

this is also the most I have ever tried to lose, have been dieting most of my life, but this time I feel it and I am gonna succeed.
I started on Jan 2nd, I go to the gymn 4-6 times a week...my routine is 20 min. on treadmill at 3.5 on at varying inclines to challenge my heart rate, 10 min. on stairstepper at level 1-2, (just started with this trying to work my way up to 20 min), 20 min. with weights, and then 20 min on tread mill3.5-3.8 trying for the 15 min mile, (I have NEVER WALKED a 15 min mile), so i set little goals at the gymn to to keep me motivated and challenged.
i enjoy reading success stories and giveing inspiration when I can...and getting advice and everything about this website..
so look forward to getting to know a few of you guys along this journey...

newcby- you may be eating too little of calories and so your body is storing fat. 4000 seems high but I don't know your activity level. I have about 2000 calories every day.
beckylp03- the more the merrier. I talk type a lot so it's nice to communicate with more people. We're here totally for support. I don't know what your routing is right now. eating habits and exercise. So I couldn't recommend something yet. The goal is to burn more than you consume. Let me know if you have any questions.
realitymommy- so right on. You're getting the hang of this. It's not all about a number. yay!
tammyb1995- That's great that you've been so dedicated to your workout regimen. Keep on going. If you start to plateau change it up a bit. Try something new. I try not to do the same thing every day. Good luck!
Hey can I still join???

I'm curious...what is everyone doing to workout? How much weight has everyone lost in their first few weeks?
I think I'm not losing weight as quickly as I should be seeing as I started about 8 weeks ago and there is some significant weight loss in this forum! Clue me in guys!
We have no limit on how many people hang out with us. I do spinning 3x a week, I lift weights and do cardio 3x a week and than I'm starting a beginners yoga class on April 7th at my gym to get my flexibility back.
I do boot camp 2x a week and try to bicycle 3x a week. I also do yoga 2x a week, but that is not really exercise. I am beginning to think I should join a gym or something so I can do some of strength training, but I really don't want to...
Anyway, it takes time to loose. I have only lost 15 lbs and have only been losing a couple lbs a month lately. But I know I look and feel so much better and am trying not to let it get me down. One day at a time!
Hey everone my name is Mike. I am 29 years old and need to loose over 100 pounds.

I am new to cc and am loving the site. I recently had to have my gallbladder taken out and it was kind of a wake up call for me. I have a very supportive wife that has never looked at me as being gross even though others have made comments. She is very attractive and I am very fat. I also have 3 great kids and I want to make sure I am around for them. By changing my lifestyle I have been able to get my blood sugar under control with any med. and I feel a lot better. I will start walking soon as the weather is getting nicer. I look forward to shrinking my waistline along with all of you.
I am not an expert as far as healthy stuff but if anyone needs car or mortgage advise I can provide answers. I also am not a big poster in forums but I do read a lot so I will try and type more here with this group.
Boot camp?
That sounds daunting!

It was horrible at first. I felt like the fat kid in gym class because I couldn't even do half of what everyone else was dong and I would come home and collapse, unable to move for an hour. But it is getting a lot easier now. And I feel a lot stronger. It was worth it.
It is a lot of calesthenics (sp?) Light weight and resistance training. Some cardio. The important part was the trainer that would get on my case if I tried to slack off or skip class. I needed extra push.
Hello everyone,
I am new to this site, today is my first day of seeing it. I would love to join you all. I started my weight loss program about 5 weeks ago. I would love to loose 100lbs. I have not been under 200lbs for almost 14 years. I would like any support I can get.

My exercise right now is a 2.5 mile hike through canyons, trees, and hills. It usually takes on average 50 minutes to make the circle. From there it is just pretty much whatever my day has in store. I also on most evenings, spend an hour and a half walking my dog but I only count that as an hour because its usually a pretty slow and easy walk.
My sister and I are doing things like leg lifts in all directions. :) Belly crunches...just basically calistenics (?) at home and we ride the excersize bike. I was concerned this morning though because after 5 minutes of peddling I started to feel faint. I stopped immediately and put my head between my legs. Every muscle in my body is aching lol. God I used to be so hot! What did I do??? ![]()
Wow Cowboy, that sounds like a great place to walk. I wish I could walk there.

My current form of exercise is TaeBo Amped! I love it! It comes with 4 videos, the 4th being for advanced people which is not me, yet. It also comes with a book with lots of great tips, menu guide for meals and a 1 month schedule of which video to do on which day and which days to rest. Most of all, it comes with a weighted bar, called the amplifier to use on some days.
I have never been much on exercise. I had a membership years ago to an all womans gym and enjoyed it for a while, but got burned out. Then last year I had a membership to a family gym and I could never make it there for exercise with my youngest being at home and the daycare was always full.
I had tried the first set of TaeBo videos about 8-10 years ago and loved them, then they somehow got lost somewhere. Now I have this new one and I am hooked, I have maintained it and am following the calendar to the tee and I feel great! I am may get into that advanced video yet! If you like doing cardio/aerobic exercise this is for you! I highly recommend it!
jerichocheyenne thanks so much for all your encouraging words, it really helps! And for starting this forum.

hello all,
happy hump day! well I just thought I would stop in and say good morning....today is a beautiful day here in NC, hope everyone else is having a great one....
I have the Tea-bo series and I never started it. They are so hard. I tried with my husband but he is so uncordinated that I spent most of the time laughing at him instead of doing the workout. I may try them again. I'll let you know how it goes. You are right if I can do a little bit a day at least that is something.

I have 150 pounds to lose. It does seem daunting, but I'm taking it day by day instead of pound by pound.
