Hi!  Would anyone like to have a little challenge if you're not in the biggest loser challenge?  I'd like to invite people that are just looking to loose a little and are mostly wanting a healthy routine.  I'm at a healthy weight right now, but i'm looking to loose 5 to 10 lbs to get back my dancer physique (i miss it!) so if you'd like to join, i'm thinking of doing an 8 week thing.  For the first couple of weeks I will moderate my loosing to about 1.5 lbs per week and when I've lost all i need to, I'll focus on maintaining it.  Just let me know if anyone wants to and we'll support each other and set goals!

I'm in a similar situation.  I'm a ballet dancer, but starting college has helped me put on a little more weight than i'm comfortable with.  As it stands, my goal is to loose 20 pounds before i leave to spend the summer in Paris.  
Same story here!  Wow the dancers are out in full force!

I've got 20 to loose, but am giving myself a full 7 months to do it.
Once I finished university and moved away to start this "real life" stuff,  I put on close to 20lbs.  Just the whole eating out all the time, drinking lots and doing nothing more than sitting in front of a computer screen all day.  I have lost 8lbs and would like to lose 5-10lbs to return to my comfortable/normal weight!

I have 5lbs to lose maybe 10.  I have lost 76lbs, just need to get those last ones off.

I'm in! I think the hardest part of weight loss is maintaining and the struggle w/ that 10 lb fluctuation that seems inevitable.
great!!! ok, when i post (or whichever one of us posts first)  post "20 or less challenge" 
how do these guidelines sound?
    *8 week challenge (or more if you want to keep going)
    *no one is to lose more than 2 lbs per week (if we loose that fast, it will come back that fast)
    *if we reach our goal before the 8 weeks is up, stay on board to monitor keeping it off
    *this group is to support each other, share what works and what doesn't, and help each other through difficult days


i'm going to start by sharing my goal and i hope everyone will do the same.  My goal is to loose 6 lbs by February 20th (roughly 5.5 weeks).  I will do at least 30 min of cardio everyday and light strength training every other day. 


Thank you everyone who wants to join.  I think we should officially start tomorrow, but we can get our goals out and such today and start planning. 
ps fellow dancers, did you keep dancing in college?  cause i still am but i know i've lost technique and flexibility, so i'll be working on that, too.  if anyone has any suggestions for workouts for dancers, let me know!! thanks again!
I want to join too.  I'm trying to lose about 5-6 lbs and give myself a little push toward toning up some more (I'd like to drop body fat % too).  I've already lost 8 lbs since joining CC, but kind of got de-railed with the holidays (I didn't gain; just maintained) and I'm excited to get back on track and reach my goal :)
