Has anyone lost weight from their FEET?

After losing 40 pounds, my shoe size has gone down from a 9 to a 7.5 or 8. I love it! It's much easier to buy shoes!

Has this happened to anyone else?

It's not uncommon to see this happen (going up then down) when one is pregnant. I always thought it was just the extra weight meant my feet kind of spread out more to bear the extra weight. They got longer, not wider.

Now that you mention it...I've gone down a size since losing weight. I used to wear a size 11 and now I'm in a size 10 shoe. Just as you said, it's so easy to buy shoes now!  Hip Hip Hooray!!

I used to wear a 10, after losing over 100lbs I wear an 8.5 now.

It's true!  When I lose weight, I always lose it in my hands and feet.  I sorta wish it would come from the midsection, but that is the breaks!  Better than not coming off anywhere!

In losing 70 pounds, my shoe size went from a 7.5-8.5 to a 6-7. I think part of it may have to do with me buying the wrong size shoes as well, though.

Hah- I used to wear a 6, now I have to buy 5s, but really my feet are sort of in between - it's a right pain. It never occurred to me that I would lose weight off my feet...!

Yep. Mine are a whole size smaller too. It's so great!

Honestly, this is one of the things I'm most excited about with losing weight. I wear a size 11. Last time I lost a decent amount of weight I went down a shoe size. It's GREAT

Hey Now! That is something isn't it! I lost weight once and my shoe size went from a size 11 to a size 9. I love it. It's now time for me to do that once again. This time I will keep the weight off. 

No change in my feet but my hands are SUBSTANTIALLY thinner. Like major changes in my fingers.

250 lbs I wore a size 10- 10.5

166 lbs I now wear a 9- 9.5

I'm hoping at my goal it'll be like, 8.5 - 9 Max

I lost a whole size as well...  Its funny how these things can happen.

I went from a shoe size of 9.5 to 8.5. I also noticed that my wedding ring was much looser. I was expecting a drop in clothes size, but the shoe size drop took me by surprise. I had to buy cute new shoes to match my new clothes.

My rings are falling off! my boyfriend got me a ring for my birthday last year and now it falls of my ring finger! i can now wear it on my middle fnger. i have to put tape on the band because i dont want to bring it to the jeweler
