anyone love fiber 1

so on this website it says for half a cup (30g) there is 60 calories

but on the box i have in my hands it says for half a cup (30g) there is 100 calories .. imma go with the box  unless u can tell  me a reason not to?

i know this site is just estimations but i dont want other people to be unknowingly eating 40 exta cals ..:)

Go with the box that is what I do. 

Plus I add a bananna with it so I can eat it,  It is a little to bland for me and the bananna gives it just a great taste, plus 1 fruit to start the day

my box says 1/2 a cup of fiber one is 60 cals -- it also says that 1/2 a cup of fiber one with 1/2 a cup skim milk is 100 cals. maybe you read the wrong column? =)

There's two diff. kinds of fiber one... There's the lil hampster food lookin' one (my favorite cereal) which has 60 cals, and then I think the flakes has 100?

Fiber One Oats & Chocolate Bars and Fiber One Oats & Peanut Butter Bars taste awesome and each has 9 grams of fiber and 150 calories.  Very filling with a glass of water.  Really good for afternoon at the office to tide me over until dinner.

I totally agree with the Fiber One Oat and Chocolate Bars, they are really great.

well ... the one i have looks like hamster food...and its 100 cals for 1/2 a cup..ill go with the box but thats jsut weird lol ...well im canadian maybe that has something to do with it?

i think it's different when you're in canada.  someone wrote a company about another cereal with the same problem.  it turns out that in canada a certain type of fiber isn't considered fiber and that somehow increases the calories.  sorry to not be more clear, but someone posted the response on another thread somewhere.

yeah, i'm in canada, and the fibre one here is 100 cals per 1/2 cup.

i like the stop&shop fiber cereal  1/2 cup is 50calories and 14 g of fiber (almost a half a day)    it has a nice sweet taste and good crunch my 7year old says it looks  like bunny food  guess it fits with the rest of my food since its alot of salad.    ps it makes good crutons for salad...  

hmm, stop & shop fiber cereal ... do you get that at normal stores like safeway?  or is that like a trader joes or whole foods kind of cereal?

stop&shop is the store brand like shaws hanafords ect. i live in nh and i know there are some in ct.    i can always just start shiping it out  haha

general mills fiber one is 60 calories for 1/2 a cup. I eat a cup every morning :) Maybe you got one of the flavored ones?  The ones i buy look like squiggly noodles almost and taste sort of like cheerios.  Comes in an orange box.  Same thing?

yes yes they are! My box went missing over night! Dang me for having a live in boyfriend. LOL guess I'll just have to buy some more.  There's so much sugar in those tho.  Kinda sucks, but cant knock the fiber content.  I was staring at it and turning it around asking 'where do they hide all the fiber' lol. I'm so blond sometimes.

yes, I've been going on about the fiber one bars to everyone. The first ingedient is chicory root extract so I'm guessing that's where the fiber is coming from." Ever eat a tree? many parts are edible" Anyone remember ol Yule(sp?) Gibbons?
