Does anyone need to lose 25 lbs? Weekly weigh in!
I would love to get a group of people together to help motivate each other to lose around 25 lbs. I was part of a couple of groups but it seems I'm the only one weighing in for the past few weeks. It really motivates me to see other really work for their goals. As for me, I'm down almost 75 lbs and am working towards my last 25 which I believe are going to be the hardest to get off. I would like to do weigh ins on Tuesdays (a couple of days to get off those weekend calories). So who is with me?
id love to. im at 200 since this morning, and i need to loose at the least, 25lbs. i would love to join you. for me to loose the 1st 25 lbs. and you to loose the last 25lbs.
ill be back on tuesday!
Hi, I'll join you too. I'm 203 lbs and working on losing my first 25 pounds (I'm a new member as of today). Congrats on losing so much weight!
Will log back in on Tuesday. Good luck and stick with it! ![]()
Well, as of tomorrow, I'm to start trying my hardest to get over this plateau that I've been battling against for like a month now. I need to lose another 25lbs at least, and would love to join. It's been a week as of tomorrow, so i'll push it off until Tuesday, and see what I can do to keep up with everyone here. :) I'm pretty new around here, so I'm still learning how to work the site and all, but I'll do my best.
Count me in, I'm currently at 206, I have about 25 to go for now. I am also new to this, I'll be back.
count me in. :)
Id love to join! I'm 5'9'' and somewhere around 165 right now(I will actually weight myself tomorrow...haven't done it in a few days). I started at 177 back in april. My weightloss went pretty fast the first couple of months, and now I have been bouncing between 162 and 168 for a while. While I want to get down to around 140, I am also training for a half marathon(In january). Lately I have been focusing more on running than weightloss and need to fix that. I feel like my running is going ok, but it will be so much easier if I lose more weight along the way! I need some extra motivation and I think this will def. help.
So...I want to lose 25 lbs by January. I know thats a pretty long time, but I feel like if I do this slow and steady, I'll actually get there this time! Anyone else have specific dates in mind?
I completely forgot to add where I was at, and how tall I am. See how new I am to this? lol.
I'm a shorty, I'm 4'10" and I'm roughly 187-190lb depending on time of day. I'll be back on tuesday though, to see what I am then, since I haven't weighed in since last week.
Good luck guys :)
I am 5'2" and 144.4 (as of this morning) I'll weigh in again tomorrow, but am looking to lose 20 more lbs (I've just recently lost the first 5) by Oct 17. It helps motivate me to see other people accomplishing their goals, so I'd love to join!

I'd love to join! My goal is to lose 20 lbs and once thats done I'm sure I'll want to lose more.
I'm 5'2.5 and weigh 140. I'll probably check in more than once a week. But I'll try not to. my mom said that it seems like you lose weight faster if you weigh yourself less.
I'm 5'2, 143 lbs age 25. I have lost ten pounds so far. I find it hard to stay motivated. I need to keep tracking my calorie intake... sometimes I get lazy and estimate! I just got off vacation and I was a bad girl. I do not plan on weighing myself for a week so I do not get too discouraged. Good luck to everyone!
Count me in.

Lost 5.5lbs in 2 weeks which was great and now I seem to be losing inches and the scale ins't moving (which is hard to stay motivated when you don't seem the numbers go down)
I neeeeed to lose 25lbs
I'm totally in. I joined another group which died out to about 3 ppl (including myself at the end. Do you think we could cap the amount of ppl so it doesn't go into overload?

I usually do a weekly measure considering sometimes the scale doesn't move. Anyone interested in doing that as well?

Goal: 120 (by 1st November - shopping trip to NYC)
Activity Level: sedentary, but I am trying to get back into the gym

Goal: 125 (by October 17--135 by Aug 23)
Activity Level: Workout 6 days a week (training for a triathlon Aug 23)..at work I'm sedentary
Occupation: Student, Summer Intern
I usually weigh in on Mondays--so I'm just going to put my Monday weights in here...weighing both monday and tuesday negates the whole idea of not checking too much bc of fluctuation.
My first Tuesday weight in isn't too good...but it does make losing 25 lbs seem a little easier since I weigh more than I thought...haha!

At the beggining of the month, I saw 162 but only for a day. I did pretty well through the 4th and even though I've only been counting in my head and not on the site, I thought I was doing really well. I am hoping at least some of that 5 lb gain is water weight because its ttom. Plus, I must have lost some more inches...my pants are about to fall off! I refuse to buy new work close though because I am just an intern and will be done with work in about a month...then I get to go back to jeans and old tshirts for school!
Speaking of school, What are you studying maddie109, hegreen, todeinotaton, and any other students out there? I am working on my masters in geophysics and currently have an internship with one of the big oil companies.

Hi everyone! Good luck with your weigh in today. I'm really excited because after over 2 months of hitting a plateau, the weight is finally coming off. I had to step up my workouts (4 days a week of cardio, 2 days a week of pilates/strength) and really make sure I was eating healthy. It was great to read everyone's stories. Weight loss is HARD! It really helps me to see other succeed, it totally motivates me. Again, good luck.
Age- 25
Height- 5'8''
Starting weight- 260
Current weight- 184.5 (that half a lb is a big deal!)
Goal weight- 160 (My "healthy weight" is supposed to be 140, but I think thats too thin, we'll see if I need to readjust my goal when I get there)
