Does anyone own a VW Beetle 2003 or higher?
I just want to talk to someone that owns one, wondering problems you may have with them or how you like them.

when i lived in a commune in the blue ridge mountains back in er... 79 pat had a VW bus - i think it was the only car anyone owned ha there were 10 of us. we used to drive into roanoke to go to the coop once a month and to the county gathering on sundays.
omg it barely made it up some of those hills - needed a yabba-dabba-doo floor hatch. good times man good times. i was 17. what a long strange trip its been.
I wanted to buy my very own Westfalia a few years ago when we were car shopping. Not for the girls, though my husband probably wouldn't have minded, but I liked the idea of camping in it. Got an Outback instead so I'm still camping in a tent.
Schooder, I've never been in a new Beetle. The old ones were very cool though.

they always finished out very low on the JD Powers surveys - like bottom rung low. jd powers ranks vehicles up to 3 years old i believe on number of problems reported per 100 vehicles. the originals were bulletproof - the new ones not so much. :/

I have a 2005 Black V5 Sport beetle and I absolutely love it.
I have had no problems with it at all, but I do low mileage (it's just gone over 21,000).
