It's the only diet book I have read! I don't follow their plan exactly, but I thought they presented the science in a clear and readable format. I did incorporate the walking and the telling someone about it afterward. I also do the weights thrice weekly, just not their routine.
It certainly made me aware of the need for fiber in my diet as well as good complex carbs. Leptin and Ghrelin were neat to read about too.

That book is my bible!!!! I love it!!
it blew my mind finding about the "omentum". wow. the different types of fat our bodies make too. i'm the same. i don't do their exercises exactly the way they do it in the book, but i've been walking everyday or at least trying to, and working out on my cardio glide. i've been filling up on veggies for dinner too with just a little protein. i'm finally losing again. i may just read it again. it's so glad to hear you guys have read it to!
Hi. Love the book. Finally a resource that that really explains what your body is doing and what you are doing to your body with the choices you make.
Really like the info on the different vitamins and other supplements one should take.
I recommend this book to everyone.
