I do running 5-6 times per week (+60 km per week), I enjoy it alot as i feel it clear my mind .

The problem is , iam trying to change my running style(doing running for 2 yrs) ,what i mean is i feel bored doing this for 5-6 times a week ! sometimes I do jogging for 50 min, then do interval training, sometimes I do hard running, sometimes running uphills..ect.but i wonder if some people have a special way to push them self more and dont feel bored in the same time?

last time i changed my music , and it went really well 60 min running , i didnt feel the time..but iam sure sure ill get sick of the music ! so i need new way to keep up my self.

I hope you know what I mean.

I listen to an FM radio rather than an MP3 player.   I flip between 6 or so stations so I'm always hearing new songs.    You can also get a handheld Sirus radio.... lots of great variety, talk shows, etc.

Change up your route. Sometimes I drive to my starting point or just run from my house.

Join a running club or a running clinic and run with other people.  Great for motivation (you've made the "appointment") meet some new people and the time flies by.

Try to daydream.  Sounds weird, I know.  I run long distances and people always ask me what I think about for the 2 - 3 hours, and I always say, "I solve the world's problems!"    Wink

Hope that helps!  I know what you mean when you say that running clears your mind.  That's one of the things that I love about running too.

Try googling podrunner, or look it up in the itunes store (It's a free podcast) It's very good and it's great for training running! love love love it - hope it helps the boredom!

Hello water_never_dry...

Though I don't have any suggestions for you (you have done everythign I have done), I wanted to know what your caloric intake is for the day?  I never know if I am getting too much or too little with running...

Thanks,

Lindsay
