I am about to switch cell phone companies for my husband and I and so far they are the front runner in my decision process. Anyone have anything bad to say about them? :D

i've had t-mobile for like 5 years and i can't really complain at all! my bill has been consistent, no problems with phones or exchanging phones etc. the only problem i have is when i visit my parents i get absolutely no service in their town. t-mobile isn't as widespread as some services, so make sure you check the site to see if your phone will work in all the areas you'll need it to!

also, unlimited texts are kinda pricey, so if you are big into texting that could be an issue. i pay like $4.99 extra for 400 a month, and rarely do i go over that.

I've had T-Mobile for about 6 years and, like jules, I don't really have anything significant to complain about.  I've got a great plan (1500 anytime minutes for $39.99) that I don't think is available any more, but they also offer other decent plans.  I have the same problem as jules mentioned, I never get reception when I visit my family.  Then again, they live in a rural valley area and no one gets great reception there, regardless of the phone company.

The customer service is pretty decent too.  There have been a couple of times that I've gone over my minutes (yeah, yeah, I know I talk a lot, but my family and friends live across the country from me).  When that happens, I've called T-Mobile as soon as I realized that I went over (before the bill is sent out) and they've helped me re-arrange stuff so that I don't have to pay for all the extra minutes.  For example, once I went pretty far over and was supposed to pay an extra $100.  The customer service rep noticed that I talked a lot with my best friend who also has T-Mobile so the customer service rep signed me up for unlimited T-Mobile to T-Mobile (which is $4.99 per month, I think) and backdated it so it covered the past month.  So, instead of paying more than $100, I just paid $4.99 and I can cancel that extra service whenever I want.

I live about 20 miles north of Boston and when we move this summer we're going to be less than 5 miles out, so I think service shouldn't be a problem (I hope not!). The husband doesn't use his phone much, so I'm thinking we'll get the plan where we would share 1000 anytime minutes. I was planning on adding one extra, the $4.99/month texting... I have Sprint right now and the bill is NEVER consistant and they are horrible to deal with. :(

Been with them for 5 yrs. Great Service

Been with them forever and never an issue. I have a very good plan and I get a new phone every two years. This time around I did the phone upgrade (your average phone is free). Got a very nice cell with a camara and a MP3 player (great for the gym). You can not imagine how good that MP3 player sounds. Even came with a really nice set of headphones. Only cost an extra $40!!

AAA++++ on T-Mobile

I have a Tmobile sidekick & I randomly lose service a LOT. I'm not a tmobile fan.
But, I do have to admit that their customer service is pretty nice & they have some good deals.
I had a sidekick and so does my sister... I had TMobile for three years (before moving to Korea). Never had any problems with them. I traveled a lot and always had service everywhere I went. Their customer service dept. is great though... really friendly (unlike AT&T and Cingular)
