anyone in their 30's need buddies!
hi, I am 31, with one daughter, need buddies for moral support.
I'm 32 and glad that I'm not alone!! I had 3 kids in my 20's, ate whatever and whenever I wanted, never struggled with my weight. After having my youngest, I actually weighed less than before I had her. From the time I was 11, my mom kept telling me that if I kept eating junk, it was going to catch up with me, and I would say "yeah sure" and laugh. And in my 20's I was still laughing. Then I turned 31. And the laughing stopped. I kept eating the same but started gaining, so now here I am, trying to learn the meaning of portion control and looking at labels for cal content and measuring before it goes in my mouth. I have a BMI of 20.2 (my goal BMI is 20-25), but try telling that to my muffin top!
I have no idea how to add buddies, so add me on if you wish as I am clueless and counting in Canada!
I joined last week to use the calorie counting tools and this is my first reply.....I'm 34 and the mother of 2 girls--like many of you, I gained most of my weight (30-35 pounds) through the "mommie process". Well, my little one is almost 3 and I've decided it's time to look (and feel) the way I used to!So, I'd love to be a buddy with the 30 something crowd!
I'm 31 and have 2 boys (4 yo and 10month). We're thinking about having a 3rd one...trying for that girl! But before I do, I want to loose 16 lbs. I nursed/pumped milk so that was my weightloss program but since I stopped 2 months ago, I'm feeling my body start gaining eventhough it's only 1-2 lbs since I stopped pumping...but I'm afraid I'll just keep adding on weight if I don't start eating healthy and exercise. My sisters started in January and one of them lost more than 10 lbs so now I feel like I definitely need to do something about myself. I just started eating healthier since Monday so I'm hoping with some motivation from some of you that losing some weight will be easier.
Hey all im 30 almost 31 shhhhhhh with 4 kids, single mom, and i need to easily drop 100lbs i joined a year ago, and in the begining did awesome lost like 35lbs etc, but fell off the wagon so to say and i am now jumping back on and need some new buddies being mine have either left or reached there goal :(
I am 35, I have two girls, 5 and 9. I have about 20lbs to lose. I was very fortunate to have lost all my baby weight, it came off easy. Now 5 years later I have gained it back. I am very active, I work out 2 hours a day, however exercise is not the answer to my problem, cuz obviously it is not working. I need help sticking to my meal plans, I tend to skip meals and then over do it late at night. I would love some buddies to share support with and to also share healthy meal ideas, that include my children.

Hi,
I just turned thirty (Jan 27). I have 1 child as well. Spent too much time already being overweight, don't want to spend my thirties being fat!
I just turned 30 this week, and I have one little guy! Definately was a wakeup call! Don't want to spend my thirties the same way I spent the latter half of my twenties! I have been using this site for about a month and I just LOVE it!! It has really helped me to stay on track (or get back on after the occasional fall off)
So welcome everyone!!

Hi. I'm Jamie, 32 and a mother of 2 (5 years and 20 month). I am in desperate need of losing about 75 lbs. I started this in November 06 and lost 30 lbs. and unfortunately with quitting smoking recently and winter time blues and being lazy and not watching intake, I am back where I started. I really need buddie too.
hi, i'm Gwen, no kids, but 38 years old and want to lose about 30 pounds.
i ate too much junk food in college and university and now due to arthritis and endometriosis, i have major limitations to exercise, so losing weight is quite a challenge. i'm trying to quit smoking, almost there, and praying that won't make it worse. i really need buddies too so count me in!!
