Has anyone tried Alli?

Quote  |  Reply

Hey, I was just wondering if anyone here has tried the Alli program and if so, how has it worked for you? I was looking up a few things and kept seeing Alli ads so I checked out their website. Now I want to hear real stories if there are any.

If you do a search of the forums (search bar at top right), you'll find a lot of threads about Alli.

I tried a 30 day supply supply of it and I followed the rules and lost 5 pounds with it in 4 weeks, no exercising. I decided not to buy it anymore since I'm close to my goal weight and I joined a gym but it did help me get over a mini-plateau.

Do research though, it may have been perfect for me but it could be no so good for you. I never had the side effects with it and neither did my friend, but others who didn't follow the rules.... hee hee.....

I tried Alli, I lost a little weight but the cost made me not buy a second month.  I am currently taking a natural fat burn and carb burn, that weight lose wise I am doing just as good on with only one rule: take 1 of each pill 20-30 minutes before eating. Its still pricey but not as expensive.

So do your research there maybe options out there for you other then alli.

I usually don't put product names in post with out being asked for it but since I am leaving and won't be back for a week, if you want to know, the company is dotfit.com.  My nutritionist actually brought the company to my attention.

Good luck.

I have Alli occasionally - ie when dining out. I think if used rarely might be ok - could be liver damage long term

Also I recently bought a bottle from Costco (lot 11534 is on the bottle) and wanted to caution I think it's counterfeit - because I had NONE of the effects I normally would (took it when ate a creamy pasta dish , as did my friend).

I googled it because I was suspicious, and found another poster on Alli's corporate site where someone said the same thing about Costco product. With all the counterfeiting from China and elsewhere, it is worth being cautious about.

The Alli rep tried to say those 'effects' didnt necessarily happen (loose stools etc), but that has not been my experience with my previous bottle I used in same kind of circumstances.

I notified the corporate side and might Costco too, just didnt want anyone else to get burned. I paid 70 for nothing.
