Has anyone tried...

I was wondering if anyone has tried Tony Little's Bison steaks, burgers, hot dogs, etc.? You can get these on HSN, or on his website, I'm not sure if any stores carry these items.

I have no idea why you might need a celebrity endorsement on meat, but I HAVE tried bison burger and bison tips and I think both are enormously delicious.  They are better for you than most red meats and even better than some poultry (like dark meat turkey).  They taste beefy and satisfyingly delicious in my opinion, but I would see if you can buy it from a local butcher or at least the local supermarket.  I don't see what Tony Little adds to the package except maybe a bigger price tag.

I am sure he doesn't add anything but a higher price too! I have never seen any bison products in a store though. Maybe I will have to splurge and order some.

I love Bison also! It's so lean, and it tastes just as good a beef.  We get ours from our farmer's market, and I know they take orders too.  Check out places that are local first.  Then you'll know it's fresh.

Bison is absolutely delicious!  It's so much leaner than beef as well.  Try going to a butcher shop and if there's not one in your area, some ethnic food stores carry bison in their freezer sections.  Once you try it, you'll take it over beef any time :).
