I'm seriously thinking about trying NV or buying Hoodia extract pills, as a way to curb my ever hungry state of being.  Has anyone tried these and have you had any success, failure, or side effects?  From what I read there are no discernable side effects and its not a stimulant like Edphedra. I'm just curious as to your opinions on the matter.

A number of people have tried it (not myself) and gotten little to no success with it. But I'll let them come in and tell you themselves :)

However, before I go, I can tell you that the best thing to do is work on eating a reasonable amount of good-quality whole foods, which will be lower, calorie-wise, than the bad quality stuff, but could make you full longer :)

Exercise is also another great appetite suppressant and can boost your metabolism naturally and safely. :)
The best natural way to curb your apetite is to consume more veggies.  Vegetables are high in fiber and they will help fill you up while at the same time helping to burn more fat.  They are awesome at keeping blood sugar levels even.  This is key when trying to keep hunger pains and uneccessary cravings away.

Eat often, eat clean and have tons of veggies with your meals!  This, along with staying well hydrated (drink water consistently), will help your situation big time!

Hope this helps, and good luck!

Don't even bother with NV. I heard it's useless, and expensive.

I have tried hoodia. The only effects I get are a little bit of an increased heart rate, but that could be because I take those when I fast or restrict. Granted, I do have an eating disorder, and I probably shouldn't be giving advice at all, I like hoodia. It does supress my appetite. But I am moving on to low-dose ephedra products which I think will be horrible for my body, good for my mentality.

Try to eat a lot of veggies, drink lots of water as stated above. Diet pills are addictive in the way that if you don't see the results you wanted, you go for what can do more. And that can have nasty effects and harm you.

Hoodia has worked great for me and a few people I know it curves your appettite is all natural ......it has know side effects and it helps me alot ....Oprah recommends this thats how she lost alot of her weight .... so it doesnt heart to try it ....
I tried it and it did keep me from feeling hungry, but it wont stop you from eating if you are eating out of habit or from stress. It will just stop you from feeling hunger. I did experience heart palpitations while on it so I discontinued. Plus, my problem was compulsive eating, not hunger, so it was useless to me. I have a heart murmur, so I don't mess around with things that give me palpitations. I got mine from GNC, btw.
