Has anyone tried Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred DVD?

Hi everybody!  I'm thinking of buying Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred fitness DVD.  Has anyone tried it?

 

I'm at intermediate fitness level when it comes to cardio endurance but I would say strength wise I'm a just a little better than a beginner.

I am currently doing this video myself!  There are some other threads about this video if you search for them.


It's pretty tough.  I'm on level 2 now, and am going to try level 3 tomorrow or Friday.  It's set up so that there are 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio and 1 minute abs.  I haven't really lost any weight since being on it, and I don't have a measuring tape but I feel like I've gotten fitter.


It is definitely challenging.  My first day trying level 1 I thought it was ridiculous.  Then that got easier and I tried level 2 and I thought that was ridiculous.  I'm sure I'll think Jillian is crazy again when I try level 3.  I totally suggest it, because it's tough and awesome.  I haven't really gotten bored with it either!

 

If anyone has finished the video and has some success stories I'd like to hear them, too!

I love it... I have been doing it a week and I love it..

I do it on my off days from couch 2 5k. Quick, good burn workout.

I paid $9.96 at Wal-Mart. Worth every penny.

I like it a lot, too. Jillian's totally right; if you're going to do a 20-minute work out, better make it a GOOD 20 minutes!

I like to do it on my cardio days since I find it more fun and challenging than getting on the elliptical.

Wow, thanks guys for responding!  I read reviews on Amazon.com but I feel better hearing it from CC people haha :)

I get so bored at the gym, it would be nice to throw something different in the mix.  I'm gonna try it!

I just did level 3 for the first time today and wow!  This lady does not mess around.  Definitely work through the levels.. I think if I tried to go straight to level 3 I would have given up.  She really does improve your strength, and since it's done in a circuit with each step being a few minutes you don't get bored! 

 

I just bought Jillian's 30 day shred.  I have to admit I was shocked i was sweating & worn out with in the first 10 mins! LOL .  i know I have been slcking , but didn't realize I had gotten so out of shape! I am so excited to see how this will work for me.  I want to lose 10lbs and get firm.  Wish me luck :)

I just bought this yesterday. I ordered Power 90 and it has shipped. I thought I'd start before it came in so I'm not just completely dead when it comes in.

I did Level 1. Wow - wasn't aware of how out of shape I am, but I enjoyed it. It's fun and tough. I'll stay on level 1 until I'm ready and move on. Then it is on to Power 90. After that, I want to try Cathe - I hear she's really good.

i purchased this off of amazon. i like to do it as a supplement to my running so i have a little bit of strength training (somewhat) in my workout since i just run on my treadmill and don't go to the gym and lift weights. i find level 1 to be most effective in making my arms ache though!

I bought it yesterday and did it for the first time today...I have been working out consistantly for the past 10 months...and it totally kicked my ass!!!!!

I am doing part 1 and 2 everyday except for sundays and consuming about 1600 calories or slightly more and have lost five pounds since the 15 of september and I am 5'3 and 136lbs my goal is around 120-125. it's hardcore seriously and it get's you results I highly recommend it. I can see a definite difference in my body and in endurance.

Doesn't it? I love Jillian cuz she doesn't let you quit....you want to listen to her and it's awesome
