Has anyone tried the KFC grilled chicken?
I saw the ad on TV this morning it sounds like it would be good and for those times I have to eat fast food I thought that this may be a good new option. I just wondered if anyone has tried it yet; is it tasty?
My brother had it and told me it was really good - however, I haven't had it so I can't speak first hand!
Post what you think if you end up trying it....it would be a nice easy option if it turns out to be good tasting and a healthier option (just say no to the skin!).
Jack in the Box has grilled chicken tenders, but I've never tried either. For me, it would be really hard to choose grilled chicken at KFC, but it's nice to have the choice I guess :).
I had it the day they had the free promotion going on. I went with the whole two piece meal thing for 3.99. Anyways, I thought it was ok, was kinda bland to be honest, and nothing that you couldn't make better at home. It was actually quite disappointing at how small the amount of actual meat is on the chicken itself. Anyways, I would love to say it is a great new thing, but to be honest overall it was nothing more then a dissapointment.
Its okay. There isnt a lot of flavor to it. I would highly recommend el polo loco. The chicken is citrus-marinated and flame-grilled which gives it a lot of flavor.
mmmmm...El Pollo Loco...drools. Another thing I miss.
Dang I hate Louisiana. Sigh. Maybe I need to make a trip to visit family, a thinly veiled excuse to go have an In-N-Out burger, a Baker's burrito and El Pollo Loco. Sorry to hijack your thread. TTOM you know.
Next time you want some delicious KFC chicken, go to PETAs website and watch the KFC footage they have. That should fix you right up.

At least you have Chick-fil-A and BoJangles. (However big fan of In n Out)
I had it and would agree, okay but somewhat bland if when you remove the fatty skin that gets most the flavoring anyway.
More processed but much better tasiting is McD grilled chicken breast (boneless) which you can buy by itself (locally $1.50- 2.00).
Theres a pollo loco here and I'd no idea it was a chain - looked like a little mom and pop setup. Citrus marinated? Hmmm -

Oh my god. Now I never want KFC ever again.
i had it and it was pretty good to me...
Popeye's Spicy Fried Chicken is good...take the skin off and eat only the meat..... and because it's spicy the flavor gets thru to the actual meat.
I liked it a lot. Yeah, I ate the skin and the meat portions were small, but for 70 calories a drumstick, I'm not going to complain. I only wish those biscuits weren't so bad for you!
Do any of you know if it has MSG in it?? All their other stuff does(fried chicken) and I was just wondering since it makes me SUPER sick!

Meh, I'll still eat it.
UD
Yep, ate a breast and it was pretty tastey. Just take the skin off and you save a few calories.
