Has anyone tried Proactol?

Quote  |  Reply
HI. I know all about diet and exercise and how it works. I keep trying and am so relieved to have found this site! I think it will really help. I just wonder about Proactol b/c it seems legite but, of course, I am skeptical. Of course I'll use it in conjuction w/diet and exercise. Has anyone tried it? I have a new guy and I want to stop holding back in bed b/c I feel so fat! (sorry if TMI) ;o; Any advice on how to feel less self conscious in bed would also be very appreciated. I'm growing to love myself more. What to do in the meantime? Thank You!

Don't know anything about Proactol, but I do know most folks on this site have had significant success with just counting calories and exercise and loosing weight around 1-2 lbs per week.

Your new guy would not be getting naked with you if he weren't enjoying the view.  Just enjoy yourselves and remember, the more bed activity, the more calories you burn.

I know ur right. He must be enjoying the view (what he can see with the lights off). I wont shower with him though. I wish there was a book or something about big girl self confidence in the bedroom. There out to be. I know Im not alone here. ;-) Thanks .

My boyfriend has told me in the past that there is nothing sexier than a girl who is confident in the bedroom! Let you inhibitions go and have a good time!
I know, july10. But it's kinda hard when your belly's jigglin everywhere. Woe is me, right? Too much yo-yo dieting has left the skin a little loose (a lot loose, actually). I'll just have to get over it.
When I first hooked up with my boyfriend (at 80 pounds above my BMI approved weight), I felt a twinge of self-consciousness when I started to get naked for the first time.  I realized however that A) this was how I was right now and he might as well see the real me B) he was interested in being sensual with me, and worrying about my fat wasn't going to improve anything.  Ever since, I've had a 'light's on' in the bedroom policy and am really comfortable with my body.  I also gained another 60 pounds from illness and still have the same great and loving man in my life.

Fat maybe be clinging to my body but it is also a state of mind.  120 pounds lower, I thought no one would ever be attracted to me.   Life is too short to worry about bulges.  Live healthy and celebrate the current 'imperfect' you.

Just my two-cents!
Okay, so he's not getting the view, but he's feeling pretty good.  If he were having a bad time getting naked with you, he wouldn't do it.  Try showering, use lots of soap.  I would bet that he'll be too focused on how good it feels to worry about any jiggle that you may have.  Don't like him looking, try distracting him, he'll love it!  They really can only concentrate on one or two things at a time.

Start using some shea butter lotion after every shower and some additional lotion in the evening before you go to bed, your skin will feel good and it may help repair some of the skin damage.
I like thos ideas and maybe I will try the showering thing. He obviously does like me naked b/c he likes me to sleep that way. I know the issue is within me and I am going to overcome this insecurity b/c life really is too short to hold back. I really admire the bigger girls out there who are comfortable doing it with the lights on. Wow! That seems so brave to me. You go girls. ^.^ Also, my guy and I have only been getting intimate for the last couple months so I think after a while I will automatically be more willing to show him what I got. Afterall, it's me and he should see me, right? But just in case, I am going to read a book I found called "Big Big Love" which is s'posed to address some of these sexual issues bigger people have about sex. I'll let you know how I like it. =)

I'm actually using proactol at the moment. I was going to try it with a low fat diet but I've decided to eat my usual diet for the first week and see how much weight I can lose. I'm now on day 5 and have just weighed myself and I've lost 2lbs. I will carry on until the end of the week and then switch to the low fat diet and continue with the Proactol to see what happens.

I am following the information on www.dietadvice4u.com about diets.

I will keep you updated as to how much I lose.
