Has anyone tried Shirataki noodles?
I was reading in a diet magazine about Shirataki noodles made of tofu. There is supposed to only be 40 calories for the whole package. Has anyone tried these... I am really missing my pasta dishes.. I have not found any in the store either.. I may need to check Trader Joes or Wild oats??

I found them at Super Target! I bought them about a month ago and they are still in my fridge. They look so nasty that I'm afraid to even try them! HAHA My husband teases my daughter about feeding them to her if she doesn't eat all her dinner! :-P GREAT motivation for a five year old!
I've gotten these several times from Whole Foods with mixed results. Taste wise their definitely meh, but not too bad when you boil the heck out of them and then mix them with regular ol' spaghetti sauce. However, about half the time I've tried them, I have SEVERE nausea later in the evening. After the last time, I think I'll just steer and save my calories for a small serving of regular pasta.
