anyone from the UK, ever tried...

"Fresh! Naturally Organic" sandwiches? according to the website they sell them in selected tescos, sainsburys, and like some independent organic food shops.. but i get mine in boots :) 

basically they are a completely yummy range of sandwiches which are mostly vegan or vegetarian (although they do meat stuff too i just havent seen it many places) and it's all completely organic.. and they all have cool names and fun fillings

my fave is the "BUGSY" (hense my display name, yay!) which is filled with humous, rocket, grated carrot and alfalfa sprouts. it doesnt sound that mindblowing but i think it is so tasty! i also love the "THIN LIZZY" which is smoked tofu, vegan margerine, sweet chilli jam, lettuce beans and sprouts. and they do beetroot and cream cheese.. tuna, pepper and humous.. ohh godd theyre all so yummy!! hahah!! 

they are seriusly my favourite sandwiches in the world, every time i pass a boots that i know stocks them i have to get TWO (one for today one for tomorrow hahah) i just want to know if i'm the only person who has discovered these sandwiches?! im absolutely fanatical!!! xxxx

I absolutely love them, Bugsy is my favourite. I used to work in Boots so thats how I discovered them. I loved them so much I went on the website too, and they have so many more yummy sounding flavours...but I can't find them anywhere! Boots is the only place up here that seems to sell them. I always stock up! In fact I'm just going to buy more today! I'm so glad someone else shares my love of them!

Actually, Boots does amazing food! I used to live exclusively on it, by getting 3 meal deals at the start of the day and making it last me all day.. I lost lots of weight really quickly! Being a veggie I appreciate the extra options you get there like 3 different veggie wraps, sushi, salad bowls, flatbreads.. its not just the usual egg mayo or cheese and tomato that I'm usually stuck with! I wonder if I could get them to start stocking more varieties.. I want to try them all!!

 

OH MY GOSH!!! this is amazing! another busylover YAY hahaha. oh the meal deals are amazing... the places round where i live only sell one type of veggie wrap though and it usually sells out really quickly so when im on lunch break at college i have to go in there and fight my way to the front !LOL..

i want to try them all too, my mum jokes that i should get a job in boots and make them order in all the differnt flavors hhaha.. but seriously you should try and do that :|

I will ask, although I don't work there anymore (NEVER work in Boots - its horrible). I think we should start a campaign and all email them - if they are bombarded by emails they might take notice! :)

i have a friend that works in boots on sundays, purely because she gets paid about £8 something an hour!! lucky lady haha.

yeah definitely, power in numbers! once i phoned the number on the side of the box i think its called the "sandwich hotline" or something.. me and my mum were bored and thought it might be a fun recorded message.. but it was a real person!! which we weren't expecting so we just started shouting "WOOOOO WE LOVE THE BUGSYYYYY" hysterically down the phone. how embarrassing.

bugsys got about 260cal :)

the tofu one i like has about 280 or 290 ish...

the tuna one i think is about 313

the beetroot one i cant remember but its under 300, probably closer 250

Ooooh... I really love the Fresh sandwiches at Boots too! And yes - the Bugsy one is my favourite as well... tis amazing. I even try to make my own ones at home sometimes haha. Didn't know it had a fanbase (other than me) lol. Oh and don't worry bugsylover... I was also enough of a loser to know those calorific values... :-/ Slightly worrying lol...

hahahaha i made my own bugsy once but it just didnt compare! and what effort grating up all that carrot :P

where abouts in the UK are you from? ive got them on the isle of wight before, and in cambridge :) admittedly all the other shops ive got them in have been within about 10 miles of london lol..

the last 2 days i have had to work my way to the front of crowds of hungry people and actually GRAB the LAST bugsy left on the shelf in blind panic. i never actually knew i was so competitive. this should be a sport. 

yesterday in camden i was delighted to see a huge range of fresh naturally organic sandwiches and wraps, i got soo excited.. the bugsy was called a "bunny girl" though! weird! anyway i got..

a strawberry & cream cheese sandwich!!!! i thought 'yuck that sounds horrible, ive got to try it' and honestly it was SO SWEET AND DELICIOUS, if you see one of these, you MUST try it.. delicious
