Anyone up for a July weightloss challange?

Starting next saturday june 30th to july30th I am going to start my own challange.

I would like a loss of 10lbs by the end date.

I pledge to keep my fitness to at least 4 times a week an hour a day of whatever exercise of my choosing.

I pledge to eat a 'healthylivinglifestyle' ranging from 1200 cals per day to 1600 varying my exercise to the cal ratio.

I pledge to not binge on junk in the home or office and keep only to my 'healthyfood'

anyone may join the last day for joining would be june 30th.

Just add your start weight and ending weight for each week.

I will add mine starting june 30th.

I'm in! I have 24 pounds to loose before i get to my first goal weight, so i think this is a brilliant idea. I just hope i can manage 10 pounds in a month.

hopefully i will then be comfortable whilst on holidays in france in august!

I've just joined CC and I'm eager to get a jump start on getting back into shape. I think 10 pounds in a month sounds excellent, but I wonder if it's too ambitious for me? I'm not extremely overweight by any means (I'm 5' 5 and 145, and I only really want to lose about 15-20 lbs total), and this is my first experience with counting calories and exercising really frequently.. I think I can handle the guidelines, but I'm just afraid my body won't want to drop the weight. Did you all find that you were quick to lose with a big lifestyle change, or did it take a while to see results? My half-hearted past efforts have always disappointed me (but that's probably because they were half-hearted, right?).
Anyway, this is probably too far off topic, now. I guess what I mean to say is: if you guys think I can handle it, I'm in!

Smood your about the weight that i want to make for my goal my last weigh in i was 198..............I have been doing my 'healthyliving' lifestyle for a while now. I have my good days and my bad but most of the time it all evens itself out as long as i stick with it and dont quit. Mainly why i joined this site I needed to feel like I was losing weight with alot of ppl that would encourage me instead of discouraging me like I have found in the past real friends have a habit of helping you gain even more weight if they are also heavy and  have no intentions of losing the weight. online weightloss companions have really helped me out.

Not everyone is going to lose 10 pounds at the end of the month but if i would put a thread up hey lets lose 2 lbs in one months time do you really think it would motivate anyone to even try harder? This way if u set a larger goal even if you only lose a few pounds at the end of it , I think you actually try much more than just saying oh lets lose a pound a week!
I am in! I would like to lose 20 pounds total, so 10 pounds would be 50% of the way to my goal!
Count me in too!!!!  I'll post my starting weight later so that it's accurate.  I think I'll keep track of measurements too.  Anyone else wanna do that?

Definitely, I'm in!!!  I need to lose way more than 10lbs, but this will really help me with motivation!
I dont do the measurments thing........I find for me that if my current clothers are fitting loosely I dont really need to measure it out. I will however measure myself once i get to my goal weight so that i have the correct measurements for buying bras and etc.

You all can measure yourselves though.

Can I be partially in???  lol  I go on vacation for two weeks starting July 21, and while I am going to be careful, I am not going to be so rigid I can't enjoy myself (like, be better than I would have been before starting this but not as strict as I am being with my calories now...if that makes sense--go for broccoli instead of potatoes with dinner, but still get and enjoy food I can get there and not here), but I'm also still going to try to exercise each day.  Regardless, I'm not worried about my weight loss those weeks (plus, i won't have a scale on July 30--i get back august 5).  So can I join partially and do it through July 21?  hehe...
