Anyone up for a July weightloss challange?

Quote  |  Reply
Starting next saturday june 30th to july30th I am going to start my own challange.

I would like a loss of 10lbs by the end date.

I pledge to keep my fitness to at least 4 times a week an hour a day of whatever exercise of my choosing.

I pledge to eat a 'healthylivinglifestyle' ranging from 1200 cals per day to 1600 varying my exercise to the cal ratio.

I pledge to not binge on junk in the home or office and keep only to my 'healthyfood'

anyone may join the last day for joining would be june 30th.

Just add your start weight and ending weight for each week.

I will add mine starting june 30th.

Its hard to eat healthy on a vac but I have done it before......You have days where you eat some things you normally didnt but I would always make up for it by eating more healthy the next day and just bumping up my exercise a little more but its not impossible to diet while vacationing.

just put your weigh in when you get back

good luck

have a blast on your vacation

Count me in... I will set a reminder to check back in with you guys to do this challenge...
Count me in! For those who don't think they can loose 10lbs in a month don't be discouraged! I lost 10 in about a month doing weight watchers. Now I am just trying to watch my calorie intake and combining it with exercise. My daily calorie intake is 1200-1500 daily and my calorie burn goal is 1000-1500 a week. i haven't tried this before but I am hoping to see the pounds melt off considering I just looked online at the nutrition content of what I used to eat for lunch. HA I was eating 1200 calories for lunch alone! (Zaxby's club w/ fries)
I'm in!  This is great motivation for me.

Count me in.  Not up for the measurements though.  I have quite a bit to lose and this challenge will be great motivation.  I joined CC this week and love it.

I'm in. I am shooting for 10lbs but I will take anything I can get. =)
HI

I'm up to this challenge! Count me in. I have 40 lbs to lose.
Count me in!

I may need to buy a scale for this.

I plan on weighing myself first thing June 30th and posting here.

Also, I pledge to eat between 1400 and 1700 calories each day.

I pledge to drink no more than 7 alcoholic beverages a week (that one will be the hardest- I work in a bar).

I aim to lose 5 pounds.

Good luck all!!
I'm in, but I'm going to aim to lose 6 pounds (I've been trying to lose 1 pound per week, but I'll up it to 1.5). I'm glad to have the extra motivation of a group!
I'd like to join to see how challenges work...where will we post the starting weights and everything...i'd like to know...just new to it all.=]
I am in!  Thanks!

I would like to join in. I have over 50 lbs. to loose. I have set a one year goal. It would be interesting to see what I can do in one month. My worst thing is the exercise. Have to push myself on that.
I'm in :) I could stand to lose at least 10 pounds in july.  My current weight is 180 but I hope to be 178 when July starts :)  So... 168 by July 31st... (insert crossed fingers smiley here) :)
can i play?  i have been battling these last (?) 10 for three months now.

I pledge to keep my fitness to at least 4 times a week an hour a day of whatever exercise of my choosing.

I pledge to eat a 'healthylivinglifestyle' ranging from 1200 cals per day to 1600 varying my exercise to the cal ratio.

I pledge to not binge on junk in the home or office and keep only to my 'healthyfood'

yep, i do.  starting...next week.

and thanks, angie!

I'm only 17, but I feel that I can do that. -That's not hard at all.

I have been waiting to find a challenge. I am off on holiday and would love to shift a few unwanted pounds. This could really inspire and motivate me. So count me in
Count me in. I can pledge to eating healthy, but I can't pledge to an hour of fitness 4 times a week, due to health issues, but I will do the best I can. :>)
