Anyone from upstate NY?

Hi, I' fairly new here and was just cerious if I am the only one from Upstate NY? I live near Utica, right off the threw-way between Albany and Syracuse. Anyone even know where that is?? LOL It just seems that I am the only one in NY state that has the internet lol, I can never find anyone on any of the sites I go on that live even in the same state, so I figured I would see if I was alone here too. :)  

I was born and raised in a little town near Saratoga.  I moved out to California about a decade ago.  No matter how long I live out here, I will always be a New Yorker!

I'm also a Buffalo native currently in Fairfax, VA. Plenty of us transplants down here! I'm moving back to the B-lo in about two months for the summer though, and so excited to get some REAL chicken wings, fish fry, Weber's mustard, Chiavetta's, loganberry, sponge candy, and some of the worst weather this side of anywhere! 

I went to Binghamton with a kid from Sherril (sp?) which I believe is halfway between Utica and Syracuse if I remember right.  I lived in Buffalo my first 35 years and have been in Columbus OH the last two.  I grew up in West Seneca.  I feel guilty and terribly disloyal, but I love it here and would not move back.  We are still diehard Bills and Sabres fans though-unfortunatly, LOL! 

Unadilla, NY here, between Albany and Binghamton.  The spring flowers this year have been exceptional.  Been really cold and rainy lately but suppose to be nice for memorial day weekend.  I really enjoy this site, it really keeps me motivated.

Syracuse NY here!

My little brother hails from Rochester and I plan on going to graduate school at SUNY Buffalo, University of Rochester, or Cornell.  <3 NY!  (Originally from Wellsville, though I live in Virginia right now).

representing albany!!! I just moved here a few months ago from schenectady but lived here in upstate most of my life. starting to get tired of the cold and can't wait for full out summer already.

I am from Northern NY, up on the Canadian border.  St. Lawrence River.  Now that's cold!

I was raised in Cicero (north of syracuse) went to undergrad in sunny Potsdam, then grad school at University of Rochester (MS) then lived in Tonawanda while completing my Ph.D. at UB.  Escaped NYS to live in Idaho for three years and Ohio for another three before the wife convinced me to move back to the western NY area. 

I'm also from Rochester good to see so many new yorkers on here.

I'm from South New Berlin, between Morris and Norwich.  Just 20 mins from Oneonta NY.

I'm from the Binghamton area.

I am an upstate NYer transplanted to VA

From NY, not upstate though, I'm on Long Island.  Love upstate though.  Have family near Poughkeepsie and Gore Mt.  Love summers up by Lake George!
