anyone using a Blackberry with CC ??

I was at the beach last weekend and wasn't able to update CC because lack of computer access.  I'm guessing that made it easier for me to underestimate the number of calories I ate.  I updated CC on Sunday night... but did I remember every single thing I ate?  Probably not.  Result - I gained 1.5 lbs in the last 5 days.  (...may have been coincidental or maybe not)

I'm thinking of upgrading my cell phone to a blackberry so I never have an excuse like that again.  Does anyone use a blackberry to access and update CC?  If so, do you like it or not?  Is it frustrating?  Easy?  Tell me what you think.  I want to be able to use CC wherever I am, but I only want to make this investment in a blackberry and wireless data plan if it is going to work well.  Thanks for your input!

I have a blackberry, you can use it to update.  The IE browser you'll have to click "full site" first.  The Opera browser you have to download first.

If this is your only reason to get one, don't bother, you can just text and get the calorie count and keep it in your phone's calculator.  If it's an additional feature for you it's nice.

Thanks smwhipple - that's very helpful.  I think I'll try the texting feature first... it's free!  And it may do the trick.

Plus you'll have your sent texts to know what you ate.  Wink

Hi there,

I've been a long time CC user and love it... I just started using a BB last week and LOVE it (it's the Tour 9630 - I'm with Verizon).

I downloaded the CC ap but as far as I can tell you can only use it to search for foods. I don't see how you can log in and see your accounts to get to the other functions. I may be missing something, or my service may not support everything but my sense is the CC ap for BB is not the whole enchilada.

Unless you will use a BB for other reasons I don't see CC being a driver to invest in the device or the additional cost of the mandatory data plan.

Good Luck To You!
