Anyone want to do the Couch 2 5K with me?
Hi Everyone,
I am new to Calorie Count and I was just reading about the Couch to 5 K plan. I think I am going to start tonight. It sounds perfect for me I have a high school track a block from my house. Does anyone want to join me?

That's funny, I saw a link to a thread written a couple of months ago about the c25k routine.

I WOULD join.... but i have a torn LCL and meniscus in my knee!!! Ask me again in a couple weeks (hopefully tha soon)! lol
Count me in! I actually just started it two days ago at the gym and will be doing the 3rd day of the first week tomorrow. I HATE the treadmill and usually avoid it like the plague, but this actually makes the time go by fast and I don't feel like I'm going to keel over afterward. Let me know how ya'll like it!
I completed the C25K earlier this year, and it was an amazing time for me. It took me longer than expected, and over the 12 weeks it took me I managed to lose 14lb, without even really considering diet, just by doing more physical activity than I was before.
It certainly kick started my weight loss, and convinced me that I could do something. I went from hating running, to actually enjoying the peace and quiet, and alone time that I got from hitting the road for 30 minutes a day.
I plan on doing the whole programme again, but faster when I get back to University and can run my old route again, it was so pretty.
Hey did you start the C25K? I am starting week 2 today! Would love to know how other's are finding it...Right now I find it really easy but I'm sure as the weeks go on it will get tougher...I really want to start to love running.
How many times a week can I eat tilapia?
