I'm a college student who gained some weight and I'd love to lose it before summer. I'm 5"2' and weigh 117...i'd like to go back to my pre-college weight of 105. does anyone have similar goals that would like to partner up with me :)

i am pretty much trying to do the same thing, i am 5'6" and am trying to get back to my freashmen weight of 119 ...only i have two yrs worth of not working out and eating shitty food so i dont know that its possible to lose it before summer
don't mean to be rude but both of your goal weights are too low for your hieght. 19.2 BMI would classify you both as underweight if you were to reach those goals. JL you are at a healthy wieght now.. try not to focus on weight but try building muscle (which weighs more than fat, and will help metabolize any extra fat you may feel that you have) if you want to tone up.
I am 5"2' also and weigh 119lbs. I am aiming for 112lbs but can understand why possibly you may be aiming for 105. When I was 16-20 I was that weight. However I can see what amberr is getting at. When I weighed 105 I did not exercise, so needed to be a lower weight to achieve the look of a toned 112. Is that perhaps your situation? Muscle and toning is the way to go. Having said that, I would love to join you. It may take me longer to achieve my target as I am older than you and exercise for me, even though I know it's a must, is a drag.
I'm also 5'2" and weigh 108lbs. (7 stone 10). I've gone down f rom my original weight of 9 stone 3lbs . CC says I'm underweight but I still want to get down a few more pounds because it's all on my belly. I can't see how I can shift the fat there without losing more. I'm HIIT running, cycling, yoga and walking so working hard at it! I maybe need to build more muscle but I know if I was a few pounds lighter, it would be going off my stomach!
actually, i dont think my goal weight is too low at a weight of 119 my BMI would be 18.9 which within the the 18.5 to 24 range which is healthy. Underweight is 18.5 and below. Im not even shooting for my HS weight which was 117, im just trying to get back to my optimum soccer weight freashmen year when i was my stongest and most agile.
hi!
I'm a college student too: 5'1'', 8 stone 8 (120 lbs). I really don't know what I should weigh: I think I'm fat but it seems impossible for me to get much lower: last year I worked out 6 times a week and ate really healthy 80% of the time, and the lowest I ever got was 8 stone (112 lbs). And I only managed that for a day. This year I'm much lazier--I only exercise about twice a week on average--and I eat so much more junk than I used to--so I don't know. I would like to look thinner but I'm not sure it's a realistic goal . . .

I think it's more difficult to know what is ideal these days. Fashion can make a big difference e.g tight jeans versus combats. Different body shapes look better in each of those. Lean and very trim for the jeans yet to me combats always look great if you are more toned and athletic looking. Also when you are close to your target you may readjust your goal. I am trying to increase my metabolism as to lose weight takes forever. Does anyone know of ant quick fixes for someone who has exercised very little? Been walking this last week(most days).
