Anyone want to join me and lose 6 lbs by Feb 29?

Anyone want to join me? I thought it would be a good idea to set a small goal for myself so I can stay on track for my overall goal and try and lose 6 lbs by the end of Feb. Currently I weigh 175.8 and if I lose 6 lbs by the end of Feb that would put me in the 160's!!!! I haven't been there in a LONG time. I thought we would start tomorrow with the first weigh in and then post our weights every Monday, then our final weight Feb 29 which is a Friday. Also put your height, current weight and starting weight.

A day late....really busy yesterday!

Didn't do well...went up one pound deffinatly starting Slim Fast.

No weigh in this week, though I was around 115 when I left.  My boyfriend doesn't have a scale though, which at this point is a good thing.  I've got about ten days to lose 3 pounds, probably four at this point.  I've eaten so much food in the past  days, around 2000+ every day,Surprised really,really bad.  But I've been exercising for a couple hours every day, burning 600-900 calories (according to the machines) so hopefully that evened things out a little bit. At least enough to not gain more than a pound I hope. I've got to do much, much better for the rest of this week and for next if I want to get down in time for the 29th.  The good news is that in as little as three days, all of this eating and exercising has started toning my muscles.

I am a day late, too, but I have good news...down another 2 lbs even though I had a bad weekend (when I wasn't at work, I was at the hospital with my sister while she had a baby). Anyways...

Starting weight (2/4): 194

Last weigh in (2/8): 189.8

Current weight: 187.8

That means I have already lost my 6 lbs! Yea!!! I'm gonna try for a few more before the end of the month. I hope you all make it too!

Posting late once again, and once again with half a pound lost--seems I'm steady in half a pound/week.

 Challenge starting weight (2/4): 117

Last weigh-in (2/11): 116.5

Current weight: 116

Looks like I should be happy if I lose a total of 2 lbs by Feb 29... Oh well, at least it's a steady downward movement, if a very slow one.

I'm not doing well at all; seem to be staying at same weight.

Increased my calories again this week and am still working out 90 minutes x 3 a week.

today(21 feb): 202.2

mini goal :200

toatal lost : 4lbs

only 2lbs to go, hope to get to the 200 mark by next friday

 Yes, and I've been on one for 3 months now!

plateaus are just awful! I can never get down past 128 for some reason. And right now i'm 131 :(

It's the weekend and i tend to usually mess up big time on the weekend. I am planning my day today around some pizza and breadsticks tonight. But i'm limiting myself to 2 pieces of pizza and 2-3 breadsticks. And the rest of my day will be very light. Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day too!

I probably won't lose 3 more pounds by friday, but i'd be happy with 2!!!!

So far off the goal but at least I'm past the plateau! Yea Slim Fast!

So I gained but will see what next week brings.

Good Morning Friends:  Woo-hoo to amarynth for reaching our goal a week early, I'm floundering, I gained a pound!  I'll have to really put on the after-burners if I'm going to lose any weight by my weigh-in on Monday.  I'm considering fasting a day this week, I'll only do clear liquids, low-fat of course... I'm hoping this will reset my attitude.

So, 149.

ok guys, i am frustrated!  i haven't lost ANY weight in the last couple weeks, i have GAINED!

starting weight (oct 07)--189
beginning weight of this challenge--175.8

goal was to get to 169 by the end of feb, don't think that is going to happen!

current weight--176.4

It's been inspiring to read along the last few weeks. I joined the challenge too, but I added my own personal challenge no NOT weigh myself until 2/29....not that I have anything personally against the scale, but I find that I can get a bit obsessed with weighing myself multiple times a day.

I am happy to report that I have not stepped on the scale yet. I am sort of looking forward to seeing what I weigh on 2/29...but I have been a little relaxed the past 2 weeks, 2 sick kids then school vacation got me out of my routines......good luck to you all and I'll check in on Friday!
