Does anyone want to measure their progress in Inches?
I'd like to start a group where we measure out progress in inches lost.
Here are some suggested measurement spots:
bicep
bust
high waist (above navel, below ribs)
waist right at the navel
hips/butt (around the widest part)
thighs
calf
Also may want to include Height and weight:
If anyone wants to add or suggest other places feel free.
A suggested date or time frame I'd suggest would be every 2 weeks or on the 1st and fifteenth of the month. Let me know if anyone thinks this is something they'd be interested in.
You may want to consider neck and forearm also.
This is a great idea - measurements are a great way to tracking progress. I'm almost done (!) otherwise I'd participate.
I would love to do that! Do you want to start on the 1st of Feb? I think we should do all those measurments. It's good to see the progress 'cause with a program like this, you almost can't go by weight at all.
Cool lets get started. I actually took my "starting" measurements last week which was a week into me starting the program.

Just to add I think my Body fat is around 25% and I definitely want to decrease that, moreso than anything else. As far as my measurements go I'd like to decrease everything accept my butt/hips I would like to lift my bum a bit lol. I also don't think I'll decrease in my calf and forearm area since there really isn't much fat there, most of my weight is in my thighs and waist area and my biceps.
If anyone else wants to join in feel free to at any time, we will have our next measurement check-in the first week in February.
I'm going to weight just 'cause I was goin to measure again at the end of stage 2 which is coming up at the end of this week so, I'll post those when I get them!! (I'm scared to check right now!) ![]()

Okay, I think I can remember all these from yesterday when I measured.
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 161
Neck: 14.25
Bust: 38
Ribcage: 34
High waist (smallest part): 33
Bellybutton waist: 37
Hips: 40
Thigh: 23
Calf: 14.5/14.75
Bicep: 11.5
Forearm: 10/9.5
For calf and forearm the first measurement is my right side, the second is my left (bicep and thighs are the same).
I would like to post on Feb 1 as well. That will be about the time I am starting Stage 3. Thanks for the great idea Amayou82!
I can't take the credit, I got the idea from this "no scales allowed" thread. I posted in there but no one ever responded so I figured I start one for the NROLFW group ![]()
I'll post in the next day or so. I am too cold right now to get undressed! Plus I feel bad about consuming so much food and wine over the long weekend.

Height, 5'2, 125 give or take a pound or two on any given day.
A lot of these are up from when I last measured in november. December was a crappy month for my health. Although, I must say I still feel firmer, stronger, and more muscular than I did then. This is good incentive to keep improving my diet and add my third workout back in each week.

I feel the same. My measurements have not changed much since I started the program in Sept. I was really hoping to reduce the thunder thighs. But everything is much tighter and firmer. Overall I am happy with the results given that I am very inconsistent with keeping the calories on target.
So..I'm a little late with this! My measurments have deffinitely gone back up since starting this program which is a bummer. But I wanted to measure in the morning and haven't had time so hopefully some of this is just evening "fluff". :) Okay..here it goes:
Neck: 12
Biceps: 11.5
Forearms: 9.5
Bust: 36
Ribcage: 31.5
High Waste: 30
Hips: 36.5 (Yikes!!)
Thighs: 22
Calves: 15
Okay...not what I wanted but, I'll just keep trying.
Oh yeah, I'm 5'6" and 147 lbs.

Bust: 39 (down 1/2" total)
Chest: 33 (no change in *ages*; I want a slimmer back)
Arm: 10.5 (down 3/4" total I think; I find this measurement hard to do consistently)
High waist: 31 (down 1" total)
Butt/hips: 37.25 (down 1.25" total)
Thigh: 21 (no change)
All comparisons are to Oct. 31st - the week before I started NROLFW. The only change since Jan. 11th was 1/4" off my waist.
