I've successfully done it before...I lost 27 pounds two years ago using this website...it's time to do it again and keep it off this time!

Life happened and it's time to take contol again.  I'm looking to lose 25-30 pounds!  I'm 5'8 and I know I've felt the best around 135! 

Who's with me?  I'm on track for today! :)

Hey guys!  I had a pretty good day! I kept it around 1200 again! WHOO HOO!

The feeling of accomplishment after logging my calories and being below is SO worth not eating the extra stuff! 

Everybody keep up the good work!  We're almost done with the work week! :)

Va Beach?!  That's awesome!!! I'm in Norfolk...next town over!  You will love it here!  You are correct, though...no hiding under clothes here!  Good luck with the move, and all that good stuff.  I dropped the weight from the weekend- so down 2 pounds!!!  Hopefully this weekend I will continue the trend and lose, lose, lose!  Fingers crossed!

Good morning ladies!  So...I've got this big interview today (wish me luck!!!) and last night I was trying on outfits.  Guess what???  I fit into some awesome pre-pregnancy pants!  So, even if the scale isn't saying what I want it to, I'm definitely losing inches...yahoo!  Good luck this weekend- I'm sure you all will do fantastic!

Hi friends!

Sorry I've been so absent, things have been ridiculously busy this week!  I've been pretty good at staying below 1300 (one day I just had to have a handful of triscuits and hummus...one of my favorite snack indulgences!)  However, all throughout the week the number on my scale has been climbing!  I'm up to 157.4 this morning!  That's 3.2 pounds higher than I was two days ago at 154.2.  I'm just hoping that its water retention (it's about a week before TTOTM).

I do feel like I look thinner and people have started making comments about my weight, which is always nice!

way to go skinnywishes!  I can't wait for people to notice...that's always the fun part! 

I'm trying to stay as strict as possible with myself over the next 4 weeks...moving is going to stress me out...and stress always makes me eat more!  I'm going to an overeaters annon. meeting this week with a co-worker. I want to know what it's all about!  anyone every been?

I'm on track for the last few days even though I went out for dinner last night I still kept it below 1400 :) 

ok sooo .. 2 bad days and I'm back to 150.. (probably one pound of water retention and the other one for overeating!!)but you know what? I don't care!! I had so much fun.. ! It's ok if it takes more months to reach my goal.. so I'm back on track today and I'm starting slim in 6.. we'll see if I can keep up!

Hello everyone

I am struggling big time with eating and not exercising. My calorie intake is 1300, so if i have a bigger breakfast like this morning- pancakes/syrup/butter, salad for lunch it doesn't leave hardly anything for dinner. I love my fruit and my wine so if I add just one glass of wine and some extra fruit for snacks, I am way over my 1300 for the day. As the burn meter is set to 1520, i don't have the 500 defict on a regular day without doing any exercise. i can see why my weight is not coming off.

I just need to get serious about this.  I think if I saw a big weight decrease once it would motivate me but this .4 lbs gaining and losing just isn't motivation for me.

After all that, I weighed this morning and I am down from last sunday to 144 from 145.2 so that is better but July 1 I was 143.4 so still up from then.

Well I was down to 154.4 a couple of days ago, but today I'm back up to 156.4 (sigh), so I guess that's my official weigh-in--down .2 from last week.  Vitenser, congrats on your new job.  See you next week.

the Sunday weigh-ins are killer! I had a bad weekend. Got some exercise in but indulged in some fattening food and ...yeah, some alcohol too. I had friends in town so I guess that's my excuse, but it shouldn't be an excuse. I know that weekends and booze are what's throwing me off, but I still keep slipping. So the scale said 165.5 this morning again, which is the same thing it said last Monday and then it said 163.5 on Tuesday. I'm gonna try to steer clear of alcohol and salt for awhile and start chugging some water. Usually that takes off 2 or 3 pounds of water weight - sometimes within a day. I'll let you guys know if the scale drops under 163.5 this week. Otherwise I've maintained for the week.    :(    Still at it though! Have a great week everyone!

I hate weight fluctuations!  My legs are sore from a hike I did yesterday so I'm hoping my 2 pound weight gain is swollen muscles rather than eating too much.  Ugh, I cannot get below 150--these days I can't even get below 153. Cry

i have been gone on vac the last 4 days, but i am back.... not a great weight in i did have 3 drinks in the last week, really nothing for me.

up to 169.8.... not good... but i did hike a lot so maybe my uniform will fit better

i loved reading that i am not alone in this yoyo weight thing...it is only up a little, i can get back on it and bring it down w/ my friends helping me.

i am off for at least 6 days of flying... i will try to email in between.

food is $$$$ in london so i will go to the grocery store to save money and no alcohol.... good luck everyone..... lets get it back down...

I hope there is room for one more!!

Hi, I am 29, 5'6" at 185.  Current BMR is around 1600, daily goal is to stay below 1800 (is that too high??)

I have been on an exercise routine since last November.  Gym at least four days a week, lift two days, cardio all four (run/walk at least 2.5-3 miles or for approximately 35 minutes)  I work in front of a computer all day but get up to walk around at least once an hour.  I was 155 in college as a soccer player so my goal weight is right around that (I am pretty strong for a chick so I would be okay at 155). 

Alcohol will always be my vice, although I do my best to only drink on the weekends.  I would love to eat less than 1800 calories a day but sometimes get really hungry/light headed if I don't eat, any suggestions?

Forgot to mention that since starting my workout regime I have lost 15 pounds and I just started to really watch what I am eating!

I feel off the wagon. I haven't been holding myself as accountable as I should have been!  I have still lost weight...but it's those horrible feelings that I can't stand that are coming back!  I'm back on the wagon now :)

This whole moving cross-country thing has been stressful--we are in the process of finding a sub-letter for our apartment and finding a place to live in Virginia. It's so hard to find a place online...and its much more expensive there! 

I started logging more religiously today and we've been staying active!  How are all of you guys doing?!?!

Today I decided it was time to get serious.  Lots of exercise and strictly keeping to the calorie counting.  We'll see how long it lasts.  Vit, your life is pretty stressful right now, hang in there.
