I've successfully done it before...I lost 27 pounds two years ago using this website...it's time to do it again and keep it off this time!
Life happened and it's time to take contol again. I'm looking to lose 25-30 pounds! I'm 5'8 and I know I've felt the best around 135!
Who's with me? I'm on track for today! :)

Okay, I just caught up on all the posts I've missed. Tucson, that's pretty funny. Ao I'm cool for Friday being the wine day, for sure.
I'm am sitting at 166 right now, but it's TTOM, so it's okay. ONCE AGAIN, I will be out of town this weekend for weigh in, so I'll try to get something to you as soon as possible. 3 weekends in a row I've been out of town and next weekend is my birthday and Lollapalooza and my best friend is in town for a week. Ugh. I love the summer, but it is not helping me on my weight loss journey.

Heh. I don't have enough wine in my life right now. I'm the same weight as two weeks ago, and looking at another week of vacation. I missed wine day, so I'm gonna make up for it this week as I lounge by the lake.

hey rosie and natural, how was wine night? i missed fri. but i had mine last night... not too bad....3 (4oz) glasses..... i really miss my wine.... but the good news is.... my weight is coming off !!!!
SW was 170 on JUL 1st. today on AUG 4th i am 163.0
i think work has a lot to do w/it.... i am all over the place, 4 different countries in the last 9 days.... always up on my feet, running, running running... i do get to read the posts sometimes when i can get on line.... i really like this group and i am wondering where vite is?
this is the only group i participate in...it really is working for me.... my clothes are fitting better again and i really think about the kinds of food i eat before i just eat them.... the first 2 weeks were the hardest....i really counted and nothing... i mean nothing came off ... then all of a sudden my body gave up holding on and it started coming off... still coming off.... but ahhhhhhhh those first 2 weeks where so disappointing....
how is everyone one else doing...?

Still here. Barely. Not losing anything. I havent logged in awhile because I haven't really been doing anything. There is waaaaaay too much stuff going on in my life right now and by stuff I mean food and drinks and no time to exercise. I work in a creative industry and bc I'm the marketing side of everything I have to go to ALLLL the parties. Plus, it's summer in Chicago and all my friends wanna come visit or someone's getting married or I'm taking a trip somewhere...I know I shouldn't be complaining but I really just want summer to be over. I have not been getting up to exercise and I don't ever have time to after work. I'm rarely logging my calories, but it's pointless anyway because when I have a good day, that means I've had 1500 calories and then burned 2-300 so I have a decent deficit, but then the next day or that weekend, I'll have 2500 or so calories so it doesn't really even matter. And yeah, I could be stricter on myself and not let myself be sucked in by peer pressure and not drink so much and FIND time to exercise. Yeah. That's what I should be doing. But I'm not. And every day I tell myself I will. But I don't. So...I don't know...thoughts? Maybe now is just not the time for me to be focusing on weight loss. But then I feel like if I say that then I'll just start gaining again. I don't know. Sorry for the rant, but any thoughts would be appreciated.

i totally understand about wanting summer to be over... me too !!! if you cant exercise as much right now.... i would keep doing what your doing BUT... i would just cut everything way down on portion size. yesterday when i had my lean cuisine, i only had time to eat half... i was running errands, cooking for company and cleaning the house... i just ate 1/2. you will have to eat more often but less.... on the plane, i had one bite of a choc. chip cookie and tossed the rest... anytime you think you are waisting $$ on tossing food or not eating all of it... just think how expensive weight watchers meetings are, or jenny Craig... then the cost of 1/2 a lean cuisine or 1 cookie isn't looking that $$ now..

we had2 couples over for dinner last night, i ate one plate of food but i drank a lot of alcohol.... didn't eat much the whole day until dinner so my weight was good today....
down to 162.8 today

Well, I haven't been exercising or counting calories for the last three weeks, but I've stayed the same. And my brain got a good workout at a conference a couple of weeks ago, probably used lots of calories. Right now I'm having a heck of a time getting this typed because it's wine night and I'm overindulging (ha - I think I spelled it right). I'll get back to it on Monday. How's wine night for everybody else?

Sorry it's been a while, life has been crazy and I just moved apartments. I've been on a nasty plateau for a few weeks now, hovering around 153. I've been trying to zig zag calories, but it's not really working. Don't really know what to do, so I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing and hope it breaks soon!

Yeah, I'm starting over when school starts. I'll try to maintain until then. I can't lose weight when my kids are around all day, they're too nice(?) and always want to share with me. One good thing, I'm starting to miss the days I don't exercise. I don't actually DO it, I just feel kind of bad. ha ha

So it's TTOM and I refuse to get discouraged by the scale so I just put a bunch of candles on top of it so I can't easily step on it. I have been doing pretty well. I really hope I can keep this momentum going. Had a 1000 calorie deficit yesterday!!! Ran in the moring AND did well on my calories all day. And I've been trying to make it a point to take stairs and walk around whenever I can get a break at work. It's hard when I'm tired and bloated and crampy, but I'm pretty proud of my will so far. I'll probably try not to weigh until Sunday. Hopefully I'll be able to see a significant loss by then. Goal is 150 by Halloween. 145 by Thanksgiving. If I can actually accomplish that then I'm gonna do something HUGE to reward myself. I haven't been below 150 since before my son was born (He's almost 7). Fingers crossed...

skinny, i was a on 3 week plau. last yr...i stuck w/ it... and bam.... 5 lbs. just dropped off in one week.... stick w/ it...
good luck natural on halloween... i say, even if you are LESS than now... it is good... i would just KILL to get to 150 sometime this yr.
