Does anyone want to do a Valentine's Day Challenge?
Here's a suggestion-
I've been working on losing weight since Jan. 1 because of cholesterol issues. I don't want to take pills and diet and exercise are the prescription. Of course that means almost no red meat. surprising to me I've found the meat substitutes from Lightlife are fat free which means a burrito can be only 200 calories if you use the smart ground taco/burrito veggie protein crumbles. Also Veggie shred Cheddar cheese substitute is very close to cheddar but again soy based but no saturated fat, so cholesterol is not an issue.
I am quite surprised how far the quality of this stuff has come and sure beats fat free american cheese, so you get more from the calories you use each day. I shoot for 1200.
Have lose 5 lbs since the new year and don't feel starved.
I'm in Diana... I have lost 32lbs since November and I have 88lbs to go... so my goal will be to lose at least 5 before Feb14. That's a pretty big goal for such a short time, but hey, they do more/week on "The Biggest Loser!"
My goal is to have 15% body fat and be a size 5 in jeans by February 14th.
I'm now at 24% and a size 7. I just have to kick it up a notch, but I think I can do it.
I think we can all do it!

So, a good opportunity to establish a healthy habit in two weeks... and potentially lose some lbs ' V '!!

I am going to drink 8 glasses of water a day minimum. And I'm going to go back to a diet free of refined sugar. My skin has been in chaos lately and I know it's because I've started eating sugar again. That should make a bit of difference to my weight too.
HI! I'm in- I'm taking a cruise on March 10th, and NEED to be in bathing suit shape.
One question, though--what exactly does 'eating clean' mean?
My exercise goal is to get in 5 days of serious exercise per week. I'm working with a trainer 3 mornings/week, so I guess I'll need to throw in some running/swimming twice a week as well.
Any hints on the eating clean are greatly apreciated!!
Cut down on the bad stuff, add more of the good.
Drink more water, drink less soda..you know..eating "clean".

My scale is not moving ... it's that time of the month ... but I feel way better and I really think I might see a loss next week.
