Does anyone want to do a Valentine's Day Challenge?

Since tomorrow is february 1st and I STILL haven't gotten back to my pre holiday eating habits, I was thinking of setting a short term goal for myself to eat clean and exercise five times a week until Valentine's Day. Part of it is because I want to look nice for my boyfriend but the other part is that I want to feel good for myself, because when I feel like I've been eating well and working out I'm a much happier person! I don't know if anyone wants to do this with me, but maybe we can each pick a short term goal to accomplish in the next two weeks and try to do it every day until then? I'm hoping after eating clean and working out for two weeks I will notice how much better I feel and I can get back on plan like I was before Christmas. Let me know if anyone wants to do this with me!

I would love to!  2 weeks of clean eating and heathier habbits.  Let's do this!
Awesome! You can also pick something else besides eating clean if there are things you want to work on yourself, hopefully everyone can contribute what they need to work on and we can all support and inspire each other to stay on track!
My boyfriend says he's in too! :o)

Here's a suggestion- 

I've been working on losing weight since Jan. 1 because of cholesterol issues.  I don't want to take pills and diet and exercise are the prescription.  Of course that means almost no red meat.  surprising to me I've found the meat substitutes from Lightlife are fat free which means a burrito can be only 200 calories if you use the smart ground taco/burrito veggie protein crumbles.  Also Veggie shred Cheddar cheese substitute is very close to cheddar but again soy based but no saturated fat, so cholesterol is not an issue.

I am quite surprised how far the quality of this stuff has come and sure beats fat free american cheese, so you get more from the calories you use each day.  I shoot for 1200. 

Have lose 5 lbs since the new year and don't feel starved. 

I'm in Diana... I have lost 32lbs since November and I have 88lbs to go... so my goal will be to lose at least 5 before Feb14.  That's a pretty big goal for such a short time, but hey, they do more/week on "The Biggest Loser!"

My goal is to have 15% body fat and be a size 5 in jeans by February 14th.

I'm now at 24% and a size 7. I just have to kick it up a notch, but I think I can do it.

I think we can all do it!

Yes - help!  What are you guys going to do to get this done?

I am going to drink 8 glasses of water a day minimum.  And I'm going to go back to a diet free of refined sugar.  My skin has been in chaos lately and I know it's because I've started eating sugar again.  That should make a bit of difference to my weight too.

HI! I'm in- I'm taking a cruise on March 10th, and NEED to be in bathing suit shape.

One question, though--what exactly does 'eating clean' mean?

My exercise goal is to get in 5 days of serious exercise per week. I'm working with a trainer 3 mornings/week, so I guess I'll need to throw in some running/swimming twice a week as well.

Any hints on the eating clean are greatly apreciated!!

To me eating clean means:

Cut down on the bad stuff, add more of the good.
Drink more water, drink less soda..you know..eating "clean".

To me it means less additives and chemicals.  There is a website for something marketed as the "Eat Clean Diet" - http://www.eatcleandiet.com/

I've lost around 5lbs!!  I've been drinking a ton of water, and eating a ton of salads! I'm pretty excited about thursday!

Hey good for you!  Must feel amazing!

My scale is not moving ... it's that time of the month ... but I feel way better and I really think I might see a loss next week.
