I am in serious need of motivational people!  I really want this so badly I can taste it. 

I weighed in at 141 this morning but I really don't know how accurate that is.  My ultimate goal is at least 125.  Won't take any less than that but I am pleased with any kind of positive change.

 I would love to do Tuesday weigh in's.  I am in a workout program with a girl at work and that's when we do ours. 

I'm not too big on the calorie counting thing. Too time consuming for someone with NO time.  I do watch closely what i am eating now and have cut my portions. I work out everyday even if it's just a walk for an hour.

Weekends are rough for me so any additional help with that would be great.

I would like to join the group..hope its not too late!! Im 5'2" and currently 144.5lbs (down from 154.5lbs on March 2)...goal is 124-128! I got down to 126 two years ago..and I thought that I was looking "thin" for my body type (big boobs/butt!)

Just curious....any chance that I can post my weight on Thursday night/Friday mornings? Ive been doing a challenge with a friend and we weigh in on Thursday nights!!! I like being held "accountable" with a weekly weigh in...it kind of "guilts" or "embarasses" me into sticking to my dieting/exercising!!!

rrrr! saw 139.? on Wednesday and WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN. It doesn't count as my weight, but felt like a milestone just to SEE it!! I've been dropping by 0.4 for a few days now (140.8, 140.4, etc.), and everyday I keep waking up thinking that I'll see 139.? again. It was 140 this morning..... do you think I'll see it tomorrow? surely... I've been sooo good. 

heehee... silly I know, but... (I don't normally care too much about my daily weigh-ins, but this is exciting, right?!?!?

Yay!  I want to join this group too.  :o)  I started at 148.5 a few weeks ago and as of today I am 143.5.  I'm 21 years old and and my ultimate goal is 120-125 pounds which should fit nicely with my 5'2.5" stature.  Between eighth grade and senior year of high school I fluctuated from 135 down to 117 back up to 140; the stress and fun of college have taken their toll on me.  Anyhow, warm weather is fast approaching and I'd like to feel comfortable in shorts and a tank top...maybe even a bathing suit! 


I also long to see 139! 

I am so excited to see so many people motivated to lose these few extra pounds.  I say "few" because that is all I ever hear.  " You only need to lose a few pounds!"  Well guess what people, those few pounds are just as hard as your "few" pounds.

I would like for when we weigh in to try to do so at least before Wednesdays.

Maybe since we all just joined together we will just wait until next Tuesday?So maybe May 6th?  That way I can keep track of the weight loss success of each of you a little easier.  I tend to post at night because of my midnight job, which may make it a little harder for me to lose than some of you because of my backwards schedule.

I still wish each and everyone of you the greatest of success and I really would love to see each of us achieve a goal of some kind this month.  (May) 

So what is your goal for this month?  Mine is 138.  Something realistic I hope.  By may 31st I would LOVE to be 138!!!

snowfence:  I think it only matters what you yourself are happy with.  Just make sure you are losing the healthy way.

bovenkamp22:  Weekends kick my butt too.  I am so wishing this weekend never happened.  I totally splurged.

poupe80601:  I agree.  for me no weight is final until i have stayed that weight a week but even still whatever it is that day goes down on the weigh in.  I just don't count it personally until I know it's stayed for a week.

hdlm2230:  I too gain about 3 pound daily when eating and drinking.  By the next day it comes off.  I am excited to see someone join that has so many  similarities....Thank you.

dbook1218:  I too am 5'4 medium build.  Do you think that for us to be goaling at 120-125 is too skinny?  Everyone I have spoke to about it says i will look sickly.

rosterhome:  If this is the day that you are comfortable posting your weight go ahead and do so.  I would like for you to include your previous weight and then the current weight.  It'll be easier to keep track of.  Thanks for joining!

Klem27:  Your goals are so similar.  Thank you for joining.  Our weights are almost identical so keep it up.  soon we will see the 130's I hope.

I know we're not posting until tomorrow but I just am really dreading posting already and needed to get it out in the open and out of the way!  Tonight i had a group dessert dinner with a group from school :-( bad news right!  Yah-well i knew it was going to be bad for the whole day but it's just so much harder after it's done! GOOD LUCK for all of us tomorrow!

Like I said in the above message, weekends kick my butt too!  I totally splurged over the weekend.  I am really dreading it too.

I am finally below 140. I am at 138.8. I have 11.8 lbs more to go to get to my goal of 127 by the end of June. Then I will set a new goal.

As I expected ..monday kicked my butt!  I had done so good all weekend in fact on monday morning I weighed 138.8 but this tuesday morning after a night with friends I was back to 140.  I know i shouldn't stress about day to day cause but I just don't know how to eat in social situations..if I had no life I'd be skinny :-) Time to get back on track!

I'm in!! I started April 8th on my goal to change the way I eat for good, not just for the season. So far, I'm down from 146.8 to 141.2. I'm not working out much...maybe some arm weights while I watch TV...LOL & walking the dog & on my breaks at work, but if I kick that up a notch on top of eating my fruits, veggies & fiber, I know I can lose more!! I'll post my next weigh in next week. I just weighed on Saturday =) Good luck everyone & remember, losing weight & keeping it off is our goal!!

I was doing great until last night when I found a bag of Trader Joe's potato chips.  *sigh.*  Back to 141 today, but determined to behave myself this week!  Good luck, everyone! 

I would like to join this group too. I joined a few years ago and did well but fell off the wagon and can't seem to get back on. This might the best way to keep me sticking to my goals. I am currently 140 and would like to get down to 120 but ideally 115 if I can- I am 5'3" tall.

I'd love to join your group too!  I joined mid-February and am in need of additional motivation.  I'm currently 139.5 and would like to get to 130 (lower would be nice but probably not realistic).  I'm 5'4".

I would love to join in! I am in the same boat, was 140 when i started CC, then went up to 143 (ugh) then down to 136, but probably back up to 140 now, I was too scared to weigh myself this morning. Im usually 130-135, but I would like to get down to the 120's. I need to get back on the wagon and lose this weight!  

I really am proud of all of you who lost, and for all of you who didn't.  For those of you who didn't it is great to see that you are stills taying positive and that you are wanting a change for your life.

 

I weighed in today at 141.  I am way excited.  This is a week at 141 so i know I lost something.  I put one of my bras today that is a 38d and it is too big around, so I can see I lost something and that to me means more than a number on a scale.

I just had to share an exciting moment I had today!

 

I dragged myself to the gym even though I didn't want to and started my normal powerwalking routine on the treadmill...except this time I did something I haven't been able to do in years because of a knee injury....I ran!  I think I ran for about a total of 14 minutes, which isn't much, but like I said....more than in years!  Very exciting and motivating to stick to my plan...even though I gained this week.

My weigh-in this morning was 137.4lb. (officially I've held 141 for a week). YAY! I did see the 130's again FINALLY this morning (see my previous post).

hey poupe80601, you think since i was at 141 last couple days it is ok to get excited over this?  I am also on my TOM, you think I will lose anymore water weight or do you think it comes off before you start your menstuation?

Hey is it too late for me to join this?  I need to stick with others that are in my same goals.  I'm 138, wanting to get down to 125 too.  I have two weddings this summer, so this week I've kicked it into high gear, but it wouldn't hurt to have some extra motivation!  And I also get really stuck on the weekends and some weeknights... :(
