anyone wanting to go from 140 down to 120?
I am in serious need of motivational people! I really want this so badly I can taste it.
I weighed in at 141 this morning but I really don't know how accurate that is. My ultimate goal is at least 125. Won't take any less than that but I am pleased with any kind of positive change.
I would love to do Tuesday weigh in's. I am in a workout program with a girl at work and that's when we do ours.
I'm not too big on the calorie counting thing. Too time consuming for someone with NO time. I do watch closely what i am eating now and have cut my portions. I work out everyday even if it's just a walk for an hour.
Weekends are rough for me so any additional help with that would be great.

As of this morning I'm at 139.5! Not terrible, but not great either. Joined Weight Watchers yesterday, so I'll see how that goes. Anyone else on the program?

I started CC around 4/8 at 146.8lbs, Saturday the 26th, I saw 141.2 on the scale & I was really proud , but I've been slacking and allowing too many reward snacks & walking less due to rain in my area, so I'm back up to 144.2. Last night, I walked about 2.5 miles and I'm back at it again!! I'm not going to let this minor setback rule my day or worsen my mood...I know there's work to be done & I know I can cut back more or work out more to even things out a bit!! Hopefully, next week, I'll have some good news to report!
To all of you who have lost....Congrats, Keep it Up & even the slightest numbers are a HUGE success =)

Didn't have a scale yesterday, so I'm weighing in this AM. I'll probably continue to do Wednesdays. Tuesdays are too hard to remember for me. Anyway.... I weighed in at 137.0. I've been at 137.? all week, so it's officially GONE! Yeah! Plus my period is starting too, so maybe it will be even lower afterwards (usually is a few lbs. off afterward for me).

I really wish that I would have started measurements. I believe I am losing inches but not weight, maybe gaining muscle. I used to do the curves workout and I remember the same thing happening to me there. I always lost inches but the scale never moved....Any advice on that?

139lb. is awesome Melness! You are losing it way quicker than I did. I'm only having myself lose 2lb/week. I wish I'd have taken measurements too. I didn't, and now I don't really see the point. My problem is the opposite though. the scale is steadily going down, but it barely shows in my clothes, which sucks. I thought that 18lbs. would make a huge difference, but doesn't seem to, so maybe it wouldn't have mattered if I'd have taken measurements anyhow.
Got into a swimsuit yesterday for the first time this year. Not as good as I'd hoped, but not too hideous either. Just looked at some pictures from a few months ago ('cause I needed some encouragement) to see if there was a change. I swear I can't tell. Disappointing, but oh well. Hubby thinks I look way better, so..... maybe there is a difference (I swear pictures look different than real life).
Finally posted a pic. The pic from yesterday in bikini. It's not a flattering angle (my legs look short and thick... there actually pretty long in proportion), but I wasn't planning on taking pics or posting (my friend took), so I didn't think about it. Plus I'm really bloated from my period, but I never have any pics of myself (I'm always the one behind the camera), so I figured I might as well post this one. Anyway... I looked alot better last year and the year before (which is sad because I've worked really hard the last couple months just for this), but hey... at least I don't look as bad as I would've at 155# in a bikini, right?!? How frustrating.... but I'm not going up! I'm going down at least:)

I have to agree, you look really good. I would say that If I had your body I definitely wouldn't have any complaints. I still have a bit of a pouch on my lower belly and some love handles I guess you call them. I'll eventually someday post a pic.
I really wish I would have measured, I am seeing a huge difference in my clothes.

you guys are all doing so really great! did you all come from around 140 or so? i was 218! :( it took forever to actually see myself looking thinner, but i can finally see it!
that's why measurements really DO help! i totally did NOT want to know my measurements when i started!!!
but i know i fit in size 5 jeans now!!! LOL and before, i never wore jeans. i never even thought i'd fit into a size 15 or 17!!! the funny thing is... i didn't keep buying expensive jeans! i just exchanged them at the store!!! i told them honestly that i had lost weight & they didn't fit anymore. :D
Well everyone I am now on a mission!! My bf of 6+ years just proposed to me yesterday, and we have set an early date.
Well we haven't set an actual date yet but we are thinking late August early September. So now I am bumping my goal date up to early Sept. but dropping the goal weight to 10-15lbs. After the wedding I will continue to lose the rest of the weight.

congratulations on your engagement, I am so happy for you! We will work together snd make your wedding day something special, not that it won't be already but who doesn't feel better in a wedding dress after losing a few pounds.....lol

School is officially out for the summer! I got home this morning and already headed to the grocery store and bought a lot of healthy options and snacks. I absolutely tanked my eating the past few days at school but I'm so committed, excited, and ready to get things going for sure. I hate that I messed up cause I mean how many times in my life have I have said I was going to get serious! But I'm sick of making excuses and i have no reason i can't do this! I'm on the bandwagon and seeing all of you guys dropping weight is definitely encouraging me! Let's keep it up!
i know you can do this! I am the same way. I commit to this then a month or so later i am right back to where i began.

i find myself really getting into the flow of things. im armed with a calorie notebook, calorie book, etc. now....i just need to get going to the gym more often.
