Anyone watching the show True Blood?
I just watched the first 5 episodes yesterday and today online. Seems interesting so far.

Ive been having trouble watching it online. But as soon as it comes out on dvd Im buying it! The series is based on a collection of books written I believe in the 70's by a lady named Charlaine Harris.
Most people think True blood is a rip off of Stephene Meyer's series called Twilight and the upcoming movie of the same name and I thought so as well but now I think its the other way around!!
The books, by Charlaine Harris, were started in the 90's and are still being written...the 8th (or 9th) one is set to be released in May 09.
Just watched the newest ep. I hope the Vamps kill Amy.

Sam is a shape shifter, he is the dog. hahaha.. I spoiled it for you.
OH! I would have never figured that out but now it make sense why he was running through the woods naked
NEWEST EPISODE SPOILERS!
I think they handled the Sam thing well tonight.
Who the heck was that chick in the road with the pig or whatever? I have a feeling Sam is in for a suprise.
I'm happy Bill is okay.
Poor Tara.
Amy can suck it. I hope she dies soon.
I wanted Layfayette to kick the crap out of Jason. Boo.
MAJOR SPOILER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The killer...I think it's Rene but husband thinks it's that Iraq War guy. I think I'm right.
Double post of glory folks.
Do you want me to tell you whom the killer is? No? okay. ![]()

I'm not a fan of Amy.
I usually want Lafayette to kick the crap out of everyone, especially Jason.
My husband thinks it's the Iraq War guy, too. I don't know but I hope it isn't Rene - I like him.
Nah. Not the Cajun - because I love cajuns.
Dunno if it's the Nam guy. Hate that the season is almost over.
Still dig the Sheriff. :D
Anyone watch last night?
Of course :)
I'm pretty sure that naked lady with the pig is the one who bailed Tara out...wonder what she wants with her.
What Nam guy?? and kathy did you watch last night? They're making us suspect your Cajun.
Sookie was a bit annoying in this episode, saying his vampire politics more important than her...it's not like Bill had a choice to leave or not...and then revoking his invitation.
I think Jessica might be a problem sometime later on, she's too eager to kill people and not much for rules.
Not looking forward to season ending, they better not leave it on a cliffhanger lol.
Yep it was the same lady that appeared in the road. I think she's The Debbil.
Am concerned for my Cajun - still don't believe it's him. :/
(Heh I meant the Iraqi War Vet - showing my age again)
Beginning to get a bit sick of Sookie. She needs to cowboy up a little bit and quit being so danged wishy washy...
is it weird that I think 'Bubba' the Vampire in the opening credits is kinda cute?
ewww. Maybe it's the son of the gay vampire, and the Cajun is just a red herring mud bug.
Just watched some previews for ep 12. Things aren't looking good for Layfayette.![]()
LOVE True Blood! Fills my quota of sex and violence for like...well at least half a day :-)
Oh Jason Stackhouse, so beautiful, so stupid...just like I like 'em.
I liked Jason in this episode, he was smartening up with Amy (who I won't miss haha).
I still don't know who this war guy is?
And is anyone else still wondering what happened with that lady in the bushes that helped Sookie in the first episode? And in the second episode? (assuming it's the same one)...I was kind of wondering if she's the same one helping Tara, but then again I also have that feeling like kathy that she's bad news...
The war guy is Terry Bellefluer, Andy's brother. He was the one who saw Sam running through the woods nekkid.
He's played by Todd Lowe.
I don't remember a woman in the bushes who helped Sookie. I don't think Tara is getting helped by the pig lady (whatever her name is) at all. She's bad news fo sho. I have a feeling that Sam knows her also.
Oh that guy, yeah I was kind of suspecting him.
The woman in the bushes made the chain Sookie threw tighten around that guys neck. And then at the beginning of episode 2, Sookie grabs the guy's leg and flings him into the trees and there's some blurry human/creature that runs around and shoves the woman making her fly into the trees...I think it gave Sookie the strength to fling that guy, and possibly the same 'being' as the woman that tightened the chain. I guess it could be Sam since the dog was there, but I would think he'd stick around to help Sookie after, he doesn't act like he knows anything about what happened, and as far as I know, he doesn't have powers besides shapeshifting. I re-watched those scenes on sidereel.com when I posted last time.
Never noticed that. Hmmm...
I was wondering why Sookie was able to tighten the chain. She hasn't shown powers like that since. I'll go back and watch the first two episodes tonight.
I'm jealous of everyone who gets to watch True Blood now. A group of friends and I have been reading the "Sookie" books since they started coming out and I just read the last one a couple months ago. Sookie is annoying in the books too...but also sort of endearing.
Unfortunately, I have to wait for True Blood to release on DVD because of my erratic schedule. ![]()
you can watch it whenever you want on sidereel.com, I don't have HBO so that's what I do :)
