Anyone watching the show True Blood?

I just watched the first 5 episodes yesterday and today online. Seems interesting so far.

I'm loving the show. 

But honestly, Bill is not my favorite, and I'm quickly getting tired of Sookie's naivete.

I was just about to post if anyone was watching TB.  Glad to hear I'm not the only one.  I like the show.  Favorite character is Jason...sookies brother I think.  Anyhow, what's the deal with the Witch...she is a witch right?  I cant believe Lafayette didn't make it out of the club basement. Sure would like like to get a hold of some "V" though.

Yeah, Cpt.  When Sookie was listening to her thoughts it sounded like she was chanting.  After this last episode, I'm pretty sure she is a Maenad.

I really want to read the books! I really like the show, and I know, from many experiences, the book is better. So an even better version of this show would rock! :D

I've found the torrents for the books.  They're out there in internet land.

Love True Blood. I just finished the first two episodes of the 2nd season the other day. I wait till they air then download them. I watched the entire 1st season in a matter of days a couple of months ago. The other day I watched an older but still good Vamp movie: Dracula 2000 cuz it has Gerard Butler as Drac. it was good. He's no Edward Cullen, but it was worth watching. I've recently read all the Twilight series and I enjoyed them, especially the last two in the series. Gave me lots of little talks with my 19y/o daughter. Then of course we had to go buy the movie, and the cd etc.... vampires always seem so sexy. Remember Brad Pitt in Interview with a Vampire, by far the best looking vamp ever !!!

 I love the show and the book series. Eric is deff my all time fave. ahhh I swoon so much when they show Eric. MMM i cant wait for more of him. Hes so delic. Lafayette is deff awsome. Who here read the books and think that Lafayette is going to be the new Bubba?

I have so many "series" must  reads now. True Blood, Twilight, The #1 Ladies Detective Agency (non-vampire related but awesome just the same)

Is Sam leaving?  What the heck is Daphne?  Is Tara going to move in with Sookie?

I loved the little doctor lady that helped save Sookie, she was hillarious! Jason's dream was funny "oooh you're so warm". Poor Lafayette was all curled up on the couch crying like he had been violated...LOL I can't wait until the 12th but I will enjoy my long weekend in between then.

Marryann is a Maenad, which is from Greek mythology.  Sookie was attacked by a Minotaur, also from Greek myth.  Dionysus, the god the Maenads worshipped, was often depicted as a bull.  The name Daphne also appears in greek myth.  She was a nymph. 

The creature could be a satyr.  The satyrs were buddy-buddy with Dionysus.

I wonder if Eggs is the Minotaur/bull-guy?  Something isn't right with that boy.

I think Lafayette and Eric are going to become good "friends."

I think Tara will at least try to move in with Sook.  Not sure if Marryann will let her.

Those people who are suppose to be there for god....man...they scare me....I would run if I was Jason.  And if I was him...I'd sample that pudding too.  lol
