Anyone watching the show True Blood?

I just watched the first 5 episodes yesterday and today online. Seems interesting so far.

When Daphne was telling Sam what Mary Anne was, she mentioned that she is unable to control Supernaturals. Did anyone else think that maybe Detective Bellefleur may be something. Because when he showed up, he didn't become "possessed."

Just a thought. God, l love this show!

I've heard that, but I don't think he is a "Supe". 

Remember when Tara and Eggs showed up?  They wre not immediately influenced.  May Anne had to make eye contact with them and add to that they were high off of her weed. 

I think her influence is strongest if someone has ingested something she prepared, foor, drink or weed, and then she still has to be concentrating.

When Andy Bellefleur showed up, he had not had anything from her, and she was distracted by Sam. 

Watch it? Try addicted to it! I discovered the books last year and read the first 8 in a week. If you like the show you will love the books. They go in a different direction.

I'd like to know how Godric saved Sook too.  And I also think Sara shot him with a paintball gun.

Was that Sara though? I'm not sure, it looked like someone with a wig on? Also, I missed a couple of episodes, who is Godric? where did he come from? I can't take it! I love that show so much, it's crazy...I'm addicted! 

Also, it's frustrating that Tara would let that women live in Sookie's house like that, I mean she's usually strong, her influence over Tara pisses me off... I just want sookie to come home and kick her out! Tara should know better... 

Yep, it was defnitely Sara.  She was just crying and her face was all scrunched up.

Godric is the 2000 year old vampire sheriff that Sookie was supposed to be helping Eric find.  That's why they are in Dallas. 

And Godric is also Eric's maker and as such very, very important to Eric. 

OHHHH, he looked different from Eric's flashback scenes, I thought his maker was native american or something... ok kool.... thanks... can't wait for next week! 

I also love that Lafeyyette is back to his old self, he's the best! I can't stand tara's boyfriend he's annoying, go away...

He's only back to his old self because the vampires are making him sell V to try and track down who took Godric. Or at least this is what I'm assuming.

I know Eric's getting hotter and hotter by ea. episode... what up with that? and bill is more and more annoying with his I'm a gentlemen of the south' routine... sookie's voice is starting to get on my nerves too... I wonder if Eric's gonna hook up with Sookie, he seems to have something for her

I'm all for the Sookie/Eric connection. Eric is yummy. And if he hooks up with Sookie, there's a good chance we'll all see Alexander Skarsgard practically naked : ) I love the books, and am a little sad that Eric is not as flirtatious in the show (or as big of a character) as he is in the books, so who knows where that will end up going in the show.

poor Sam...guy can't catch a break.  Bet they'll come after him in jail.   Maybe he'll turn in a mouse and escape through the bars...hehe.

I like Eric too.  I used to dislike him but he's starting to grow on me.

I have no idea what's going to happen with the bomb thing.

okay did you seeeeee when eric turned around and his shoulders!!! sorry but he is getting hotter and hotter by ea. episode! and the fact that sookie finally bucked up and was like "get your hands off my man"... that alone I have respect for her finally for stepping up and not being so 'innocent' about whats happening, she got my respect for that.... I do love what's going on with the new couple, forget their name? but the young girl "virgin" ... when she was like "it grows back everytime"... my mouth dropped!!! what a great show!!!! lovin' it!!!! next week can't come quck enough...

Uhhh.  Yeah.  Eric is hot.  Forget about post #16.

runningbuns - well we know he can turn into a bird and fly away... so his power is stronger than he maybe thinks, so it would not be surprising if he turns into all sorts of animals!

I really liked Bill's maker (Lorena?). I like the psycho strong women, haha.

Heh. Am enjoying this new plot line with Eric.

^^ that's because Eric is naked. Well, that's why I'm enjoying it. She can dream about it every episode until it happens, and I'll be a devoted viewer : )
