I just started Weight Watchers and am really enjoying it  so far! But I get bored easily. I am also still counting calories as double protection. I find that my 22 points ends up being around 1300 calories.
Any good success stories or down sides to this plan?

I personally have never tried Weight Watchers, but one of my coworkers lost almost 90 lbs on it. She looks fantastic and is training to run a marathon.
a good friend of mine and her mom have just started weight watchers. and there doing realy good at losing weight. they said its all about portion control and they realy like it.
I swear by weight watchers -- it helped me lose 11 pounds (before i gained it all back, plus two pounds.... blah). I just can't commit to a once a week meeting -- calorie counting is free! And I have you guys for support :)
I am going to try doing both (WW and CC) for awhile! I am two pounds down this week! YIPEEEE!
Carie, I have just started WW this week.  I have been doing CC for quiet some time without any success, due to my own will power.  I am hoping that with WW, I will feel that there is more accountability.  I will try to keep my CC page up to date so everyone can see if it is successful.  Please keep me posted if it is working for you.

Hey guys, just as a caution, make sure you are counting your calories too.  When I did weight watchers, I was told to eat between 18 and 22 points a day.  Unless a food is high in fat or has a lot of fiber, 50 calories = 1 point.  Looking back, many of my days probably only logged in around 900 calories or so, which is why I think my metabolism is really screwy now.  I love weight watchers because I think it teaches people how to eat well and in moderation, but I just think people need to be careful when they fall on the low end of the spectrum.

I had a friend who has joined WW, he lost 28lb in a few months,

He now looks in great shape, and he said he feels fantastic.

Good luck
The problem i found with WW was they start you out at healthy points. As time goes on you end up eating less and less and not even keeping near the minimum of 1200 cals a day plus exercise. I know they have the weekly alotted anytime points that you can go over but when i calculated all that up I still wasnt really eating a healthy amount of food per day. I felt exauhsted and had a hard time functioning I think due to the such low cal days everyday.

Idid weight watchers last year I started around june and stopped around October-ish.. and I went from 218 to 183 within that time frame.. it is so easy to do if you WRITE DOWN YOUR POINTS.. you HAVE to do that to be successful.. I wish I could still do it but once school started so did sports and I had special practice on the night of the meetings so i stopped going and with that I put on 10 pounds.. And now that school is done I work on those nights and I am a poor college girl now.. But it helped both me and my mom.
