Anyone work nights? How do you log calories?

Hi, I've been using cc for about a month now, really trying to be  as accuate as possible about logging everything in correctly, but have recently started working again, bartending, and go into work at between 8-10 pm and get home around 4. I do this three times a week and the other days although I go to the gym Im on a pretty sedentry/light schdule. But when Im at work, I WORK, lots of running around and lifting, so I figured I'm "light activity" to balance things out. I try to eat as healthy as possible before work and bring healthy snacks but sometimes I dont have time to eat them and have something when I get home at 4 am, then sleep till about 1 the next day. My question (finally!) is what day should I log my calories? If I eat after 12 and before I go to sleep should I add them on that day anyway or the next day when I wake up? Im really starting to focus on weights more than cardio now, so  I think I need to start adding a bit more calories, I just need to know where to put em!! Thanks :)

I don't think it really matters as long as you log them. I personally count a day from when I wake up until when I go to sleep. Since I wake up at 4pm I count from there until I go to bed at 9 am on what is actually the next day. But I've done it both ways and it really doesn't seem to matter.
