Anything wrong with eating mainly at night?
Like say eating only a bit during the day then eating the majority (55%ish) of the calories at night, 6-9pm?
.
its basically the amount of calories your having just dont have too much carbs at night. sometimes i like to have a piece of fruit or vegetable sometimes with cottage cheese.. if i feel like being naughty ill have a full teaspoon of organic PB or dark chocolate spread lol... um but my fav is hot chocolate made with skim milk and unsweetend cocoa with a hint of cinnamon, yum!
I don't think so but some people might know about this more than me. I'm in class most of the day so I can't really balance my meals, so I eat mostly at night too.
The way I see it, you will probably burn it off the next day (at least some of it).
I sometimes do the same thing. I used to stock up my calories big time before I started my recovery from anorexia. When I did I found that I was tired and sluggish through the day and full of energy at night. Once I started planning my meals better and eating a balanced diet, I seemed to have tons of energy throughout the day.
My advice is to try and plan your meals and snacks out so you are not overloading yourself at night. It works for me and now I have loads of energy and feel great all day.
Personally, it doesn't seem to have any effect on weight loss for me. However, it does give me acid reflux all night if I lie down with a full stomach, so I stop eating at least 2 hours before bedtime.
I usually eat that way, and haven't had a problem losing weight. It can be challenging for me to take the time to make healthy food for myself during the day, and I like to plan for dinner to be my biggest meal. I think 55% isn't too bad. As long as you are not letting yourself get too hungry during the day!
That being said, I always eat a good-size breakfast, and it lasts me well into the day. You have to figure out what works for you, everyone is different.
idk if it's true but i have pretty much heard that anything you eat after 7ish sticks to you because you dont have enough time to burn it off, and you dont burn much cals when you sleep... i would think it would be better to spread it out if at all possible. That is just what i have heard.
you can eat anytime you want...as long as your overall intake is not more than you burn it will not have any effect on your weight, your energy however might not be so great.
