Weight Gain

I don't understand what happened. I have been doing so great with my calories lately and feeling great with natural hunger, and then all of a sudden I woke up today with no appetite at ALL. I had to REALLY force in breakfast, and if felt absolutely horrible, and then lunch later again I wasn't hungry at all still 5 hours later, yet I still forced myself to eat. Afterwards even a little food kind of came back up in my mouth. Now I got home and I still have NO appetite and had to force down a snack, and it feels so uncomfortable. I don't understand what caused this sudden thing, I 'm having to stuff down my calories again and I DON'T like it, but I don't understand why I lost it. I'm also probably going to have to take quite a lot of my calories in liquid.

Any suggestions on what might have happened and what I can do to increase my appetite back? ANd do I keep on having to eat mechanically?

Keep eating mechanically. Just eat. It will come back.

Okay.. thanks. Any dea why it might have gone in the first place? :/

Not really, no. You just have to push through it.

I have a few days like that too. I think the body just slips up sometimes? We just have to eat through it all. Recovery's an uncomfortable process :/

Everyone has hungry days and not so hungry days.  If you need to lose weight you have to ignore the hungry days to a certain extent.  If you need to gain weight you have to ignore the not so hungry days and keep up your intake.

Okay, all better :). I somehow survived that day.. lolz. I woke up this morning and my appetite was stronger than ever so no idea what happened XP. Hahahaha... now I can eat even MORE~!

It's normal! I get it all the time. Sometimes it's because of my IBS-C but like what gi-jane has said, everyone has hungry days and not-so-hungry days. :D

Is it true for most people that if they're underweight, their hunger level generally goes up to encourage weight gain? I think this is happening to me as i have gained 5 lbs back but im FAMISHED all the time...

I found that when I began to eat again my hunger levels SHOT up. I believe it is a sign of a speeding metabolism, really. And honestly, it felt SO good to wake up in a morning and hear my stomach grumble again instead of going and making breakfast out of routine and nothing else!
