Apple Baba

Quote  |  Reply

Hi everyone,

This is my first post!!!! When I go to Starbucks or Second Cup I always eat something called an Appla Baba. I believe that it may also be called a "Baba au rhum". It's basically an apple pastry... is round... probably made in a bundt pan. Sometimes it has icing sugar on top.  It has sort of a wet consistency. Has anyone ever tried one? I've heard that they are very healthy and full of fibre. Can anyone estimate how many calories they have? I can't find the nutritional info on any website. Let me know!!

Yum...that sounds really good. Your description reminded me of these pastries I see at Panera Bread. I don't know how big yours is, but this might be similar (click on caramel apple artisan pastry for nutritional info):
