Apple Bread Pudding

I made this tonight and it came out great! If you use skim milk, Splenda, and low-cal bread, it's RIDICULOUS how low calorie it is! I used egg whites instead of eggs (probably would use egg beaters or just regular eggs next time) and it clocked in at 114 calories per serving, and there's 6 servings. Yum.
Edit: the bread I used was actually 50 calories a slice and not the 42 calorie weight watchers bread I used for the purpose of the recipe analyzer, so the per serving SLIGHTLY off...by like 10 kcals or so.
:O yum! And not much sodium either!
It's apple season so I'm going to try it. Did you include the raisins & butter too? I could re-analyze the recipe but I'm just so doggone lazy!
Yep, I used the 2 tsps of butter for frying the apples and that's included in the analysis. I skipped the raisins, but did throw in some (maybe 2 tsps) Craisins.
I had some difficulty with the recipe in that I didn't have a 9" glass pie dish so I used something that was deeper, and it took longer to bake all the way through, so I gave up after an hour and threw the entire thing in the microwave after making some cuts in it. :-P
I think next time I'd use Egg Beaters instead of All Whites.
Bread pudding is so forgiving. You can put just about anything in it and it's delicious. You did such a good job of cutting the calories on this - I've tagged your recipe.
