apple cider vinegar and weight loss??

so i know this isn't new, but drinking 1-2 tsp of apple cider vinegar before every meal will help you lose weight... yes? is this false? if it isn't, how much weight would you lose, or rather, how fast do you lose the weight? some people report fast weight loss, others say that it's extremely slow, maybe 1 pound a month... does anyone have any other info? thanks :)
