low fat pancakes
| 3/4 | cup whole wheat flour |
| 1/2 | cup oatmeal |
| 1/2 | tsp salt |
| 1 | tsp baking powder |
| 1/3 | cup milk, non-fat, dry |
| 1 | tsp cinnamon |
| 3/4 | cup applesauce |
| 1/2 | cup water |
| 1 | egg |
- Add dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Stir together. Add applesauce and water. Stir until combined.
- Separate egg, reserving egg yolk. Beat egg white until stiff peaks form. Gently fold into pancake batter.
- Drop 1/4 cup amount onto medium low heat nonstick or well-seasoned cast iron skillet. Turn once when bubbles form on top of pancakes.
