Vanilla extract is mostly alcohol.

Thats true. I actually knew an alcoholic who would drink vanilla extract if he couldnt get any alcohol. Of course, he also drank cologne and melt records for the same reason, but thats another story.
its the vanilla.
when i'm writing down recipies on CC, i end up leaving it out (it doesnt have a significant amt of calories) or putting non-alcohol vanilla flavoring.
either works.
I do the same thing. I put the vanilla in the instructions instead.
Interesting, I never knew that! ![]()
Thanks everyone.
