Recipe Ingredients for Applesauce Muffins with Cinnamon Streusel Topping

905 3/5 g All Purpose Baking Mix
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp ground cinnamon
2/3 cup chunky applesauce
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
2 large eggs
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
48 g (3 tbsp) All Purpose Baking Mix
1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp light Blue Bonnet butter, melted

Recipe Directions for Applesauce Muffins with Cinnamon Streusel Topping

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees f

  2. Whisk together baking mix, sugar, and cinnamon in a large bowl; make a well in center of mixture

  3. Wisk together applesauce and next three ingredients in a small bowl; add to sugar mixture, stirring just until dry ingredients are moistened

  4. Spoon batter into a litly greased 12-cup muffin pan, filling until almost full

  5. Sprinkle, with Cinnamon Streusel topping over batter

  6. For Cinnamon Streusel topping:

  7. Whisk together granulated sugar and next 3 ingredients until blended

  8. Site melted butter in to sugar mixture until well blended and crumbly

  9. Once Cinnamon Streusel topping is added, bake at 400 degrees F for 18 to 29 minutes o until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean and tops are golden brown

  10. Cool in pan on a wire rack 5 minutes

  11. Remove from pan to wire rack
