Let's get this April challenge started! 

Read the rules before you sign up.

RULES

  1. You declare your weight on or around April1st (CSW) and your goal weight for April 30th (CGW).
  2. Once a week (whichever day is best for you) write a new post with your then current weight (CW), and repeat your CSW and your CGW.
  3. Last weigh-in will take place on April 30th/May1st
  4. Anyone who has not posted in the last week of the Challenge, i.e. April 25th-30th, will be deemed to have left the Challenge and will not be included in the final count.
  5. We don't need to know your original starting weight or your ultimate goal weight. However, feel free to include those for the record but for the purpose of this challenge we only need to know your starting weight and your goal weight for this month!
  6. What should be your goal weight:for newbies recommended weight loss is about 2lb a week. Everyone else can set up their own CGW based on previous experience.

Abbreviations mean:

CSW - Challenge Start Weight (please repeat this at each weekly update)

CGW - Challenge Goal Weight (please repeat this at each weekly update)

CW - current weight

Winners - those who met or exceeded their declared CGW.

I'm a little conflicted doing this challenge. With my weight training, its not really going down much in weight, but I am losing inches.  But I'll see how far I get again this month!  Good luck to everyone!

A big thanks to ashbot80 for getting this thread started. I was very much in the midst of family things this weekend so I'm glad you got it going. I'm happy to keep track of the weigh-ins as usual.

Again, not hopeful, still getting used to medications and now my partner has completely hijacked the food shopping and I can't afford to replace the rubbish he has substituted the real food with. Frown

Re-joning again. Didn't have any loss in March, ended up with a little gain. Hope for better luck in April.

Hey everyone! Looking forward to really pushing myself this month.  Didn't make my goal last month, so I'm gonna up my workouts and be really disciplined with my calories! :D

When I started, I decided that I wanted to lose 30 lbs by June and 60 by next January.  I am well on my way to obtaining both of those goals! I want to fit into a size 12 by my birthday on June 11.  Is that so much to ask!??
