Gained 2.5 lbs this week. I'm sure it is from all the sodium from eating out over the weekend. It seems like I just have no control lately. This week however will be different. I've got my meals all planned for the week and am ready to tackle the new week head on.

I'm getting there. Still not so good on the water and I slipped up on the veggies, but I am please with the weigh in. I know TOM"s around the corner, and this was Teacher Appreciation Week so we had lots of extra goodies around. It also rained every day last week, so I wasn't as active. Onward and forward!

OUCH! Mother's Day buffet and a huge Chorale potluck did a real number on me (actually, I did a number on THEM!). I'm back to above my starting point. Shame on me.

My dear Mautler, I too haven't loss since this challenge and I am disappointed. But, Yes, I will continue to log my weights and yes there will be another 3 month challenge I plan on starting July-Sept.
Lets keep at it like we have been and we're bound to see the scale move in the more positive direction.

This is my first week since I've joined CC that I had a gain. It's very disheartening, to say the least. I've been out of the house and getting around more than usual. I even WALKED all the way through the grocery store with the aid of a shopping cart. For me, that was unbelievable. When I've tried that in the past, my husband would have to go back to get me an electric cart to ride. So here are the numbers for the week.

Lost 1.5 lbs this week. Went out for pizza last night which was a huge mistake. I ate way too much and felt miserable afterwards. I need to remember that feeling next time I want to eat out!
Weather is looking wonderful today. The sun is shining and temps are to only be in the upper 60s. I had planned on participating in a 5K walk yesterday morning but storms/rain kept us home so I'm hoping to do my own 5K walk today with the family.

Wow! Everything just clicked this week. I was so busy in the evenings that I ate supper as soon as I got home from school. I kept busy and still did my workouts. I need to still drink more water. Other than that, I am extremely pleased with the way this week went! Can't wait to see what unfolds for next week's weigh-in!

I'm very sorry that I haven't logged in for so long. Actually, I think I've met the challenge!

Starting weight: 165. But on April 2 when the challenge started, I actually weighed 162.5. I started cc'ing three weeks before the challenge. Do my 10.5 lbs still count?
Current weight: 154.5.
The other thing is that I lied. I really weighed more like 168 when I began cc'ing, but put instead 165. I hadn't weighed myself when I started, but a few months before I had weighed 168. I "guesstimated" my weight, and when I weighed myself on week one, I weighed 165. So either I lost 2 or 3 lbs my first week, or nothing.
I am now in a size 10 skirt and the pants I was wearing do not fit anymore...they kept falling down when I walked, and I had to stop wearing them! I don't know how many inches I've lost, but it's been noticeable to everyone. ![]()
crazypotato, you made me laugh. I have done and probably still lie about how much I once weighed to what I weighed when I started CC to what I would have weighed to what I want to weigh, etc., etc. etc. I love it. Perhaps that is called rationalization. Who knows. I would count your 10.5 lbs but it's Heavenly's challenge, she's the boss. You're sticking with the challenge so you will be more successful. Way to go.
OK, here's the deal. I don't know what is going on with my body. This past week has been totally hectic. I normally wake up whenever I wake up but have had to get up before dawn 4 days in a row for doctors' appointments. There are so many meds I take, some cause me to gain and I have CHF so when I don't take my diuretic, I blow up like a balloon. Water is retained everywhere. With all the early mornings of having to be out of the house I couldn't take water pills. Finally took a water pill yesterday, was hitting the potty every 25 minutes until 4 in the afternoon. So today's weight is down but who knows what it really means.

I still have swelling in my face and some in my feet so I really don't believe the numbers on my scale. My clothes are looser and that's a good sign.

I loss but it really doesn't count since I am not at my lowest weight of the challenge of when I logged it. BUt CrazyPotato, SURE YOU SHOULD COUNT IT. This is for POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT and that is what matters!
I haven't made any rules to this challenge and never will this is just basically for accountability and to show how you well you can stay motivated and meet a goal.
So many people set goals and give up, when they tried for a period of 3 months. That is why the weight loss journey is such a troublesome area for people to stay motivated. With a three month challenge is just enough for a person to give it a go. I say GREAT JOB. ANYTHING IN EXCESS TO THE 10 pounds want to donate to my goal!!!! (LOL). Just kidding count absolutely all you have loss.

This week I stuck with the exercise routine. NOT. It was my last week of school and things were stressful. I skipped a few days at the gym and watched what I ate. The weather here has been warm so I upped my fluids. It's great to see those 140s!!!
