I didn't particularly eat less these past 2 weeks but I did some very long exercise routines, 12 mile hikes, and just kept very busy the whole time.  I would love to have time to just have the active lifestyle I've been having these past 2 weeks but I know that is not realistic.  So I'll have to continue to resort to cutting back on calories.  I actually started that this week- 1500/day until 6/27 so I can finally lose these last 8 lbs!

 

This week: down 2 more lbs.

So I started the second week of March at 168, and now I'm at 152.25.

YEAAAAHHH!!!

I felt kinda bloated today cuz of...you know, my...friend. But oddly enough, I lost two pounds since last week anyway!

I had a car wreck on Saturday May 23rd and totaled my vehicle.  Luckily, my only bodily injury was a nasty airbag burn on my left arm.  With that, and since last week was the last week of school, I took a much-needed 12 days off from the gym, biking, and Wii Fit.  I see that I still lost this week, but today I began my gym routine again.  It was nice to have a break but I miss the challenge my body needs.  Now that my arm is healing nicely and I am out of school, it's time to get my rear in gear!  Good luck everyone out there!

Friday was my daughter's wedding, Saturday was my cousin's bridal shower. Both were wonderful. I faithfully logged in my food journal. Even though the shower was a buffet, I made healthy choices. Carrots, cucumbers and watermelon on my appetizer plate. Chicken, roasted red potato and salad on my luncheon plate. My old plan would have been to load up on the potatoes and breadstix. My new plan was one little red potato, NO bread, the smallest piece of chicken in the serving dish and salad with a sprinkling of dressing. When they passed the beautiful cupcake desserts, I took one but really surprised myself by munching the toasted almonds off the top and leaving the rest.

I've managed to increase my activity from an average of 31 minutes a day in April to 41 minutes a day this month.  This past week I was averaging 58 minutes each day.  I seem to have more energy so I'm hoping I can keep up the activity during June!

Knew it was too good to be true...

Gained back a pound.

Still not going to the gym and I was without a vehicle two days this week.  Instead of getting out there and riding my bike, I sat at home and did nothing.  It's just a funk I am in...the weather has been cooler too and I've not felt well.  TOM is next week so I know that is a part of it.  Just gotta keep on keepin' on!!

Too much eating out this past week which leads to too much sodium and weight gain for me.  The kids are out of school now so that should cut out some of the eating out since we will need to come home to pick them up before going out to eat. Once I'm home I generally don't want to have to go back out so hopefully that will work to my benefit.

After a week of all kind of activities, I was ill over the weekend. Have not taken a diuretic for my CHF in over a week. Morning weight today was 257, then I had breakfast, took a diuretic and current weight is 252. You can guess where I have been sitting most of the day. LOL

I got a vehicle this week!  I walked in a 2mile walk/5k run on Saturday and it felt great.  I am thrilled to exceed the 10 pound challenge as well!!!  Feeling good but tired lately because of the heat and my refusal to turn on the A/C.  Stubborn as always!  Hang in there everyone!!!!

Forgot to weigh in yesterday so logging today instead. It looks like I've finally gotten back on track and am headed in the right direction. Actually saw 245 earlier in the week. Hopefully it's back for the weigh in next Sunday.
