Arc Trainer
Does anyone have these at their gym. We got these back in the Spring and I used to use it. Then I fell of the wagon etc, so I tried it again today. I went 20mins on 15 resistance and 5 incline. It was tough - but not too much. In the spring I was doing like 35 resistance. I wonder if these are more efficient than the ellipticals - or what the benefit to them is anyway. Its not my favorite machine, but that may be because I'm not good at it yet. Any comments??

Anyone use these??
they are like a cross between an elliptical and a stairmaster so you work your legs and rear more. They are a good piece of equipment.
I love them - they are hard, but I feel I get the best cardio work out on them and the burn a lot of cals.
Stick it out. These are great machines, and give a wicked workout. Also, they're non-impact, so if you have bad knees and feet as I do, it's a great substitute for running. My gym offers an Arc Class, with great music and a teacher who leads the class, and has us changing up our resistance and incline throughout, which is the best way. Find yourself some great cardio music and just go for a run!
