Food food food is all I seem to think about now. I was out last night and couldn’t eat for nearly 7 hours! which resulted in me losing two pounds. No-one around me seems to eat anything – they go ages without eating anything where as I start getting hungry every 2 hours it’s so frustrating!
Another thing I always feel guilty whenever I do any aerobic exercise and get annoyed by the extra 500 or so calories I’ll need to make up for it. I hate to think I’ll have to keep this up for the rest of my life. I didn’t go away on holiday this year purely because I would probably lose so much weight while travelling.

i know what you feel like, but remember the people around you arnt starved , there bodies arnt malnurished and crying out for food . when you are in this state it is normal to be constantly thinking about food. your body is trying to do everything in its power to restore you to health. some people dont eat for six hours which i think even when weight restored isnt healthy , the best way to keep you satisfied and to keep your metabolism working is to eat more reguarly. my brother often goes for longs spells without eating but when he eats he eats his 1 meal is about 5 of mine .
exercise is a hard one if you do want to do it you have to eat more. try to focus on yourself and what you want in life. you said you would hate to keep this up , but it wont always way the more weight you gain, the more you battle, the more you enter positivity mode, you start to see the benefits and the less you will think about food. think of that as a goal to get to a healthy weight , you can have a hoilday whatever you want. you can do it we are all right behind you. i try to look at it as weight restoration not gain . h x

The problem is I think I differ from a lot of people on this board in that I’m naturally built tall a skinny – I didn’t lose any weight to start with I have always been this way hence my thinking that I will have to continue this sort of calorie intake for the rest of my life. Still I shouldn’t complain; worse things and all that – just felt like a bit of a rant! ![]()

Part of your challenge is to give food priority and always to have portable snacks so that this kind of thing doesn't happen. If (unlike other people) you need to eat every two or three hours to keep the weight on you have to be prepared.
Yeah I realise that is what I will have to do - not all that convenient to crank out a sandwich in a nightclub though! ![]()
